  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

It is your job if you’re going to claim something is BS without checking first.

Here @Dave Moss, you will like this one better as Mearsheimer argues that Israel is not behaving morally though he offers no other alternative policy.

The host of this show is pretty good and stays very balanced in all of his vids which cover a wide range of difficult and controversial topics.

https://abcnews.go.com/International/3-israeli-hostages-killed-idf-troops-unbearable-tragedy/story?id=105714690

On Saturday, the IDF said the three hostages were "mistakenly identified" as a threat.

The Israel Defense Forces released information regarding its preliminary investigation into the killing of hostages, saying that the incident took place in an area of "very intense fighting."

The three hostages came out of a building -- a few meters from the troops -- without shirts, carrying a stick with white cloth, the IDF said. A soldier saw them as a threat and opened fire, killing two hostages instantly, according to an IDF spokesperson.

The third hostage was injured and ran back into the building where all three emerged from and someone cried "help" in Hebrew. At this point, the battalion commander ordered his troops to stop firing. But, despite the order, another burst was fired, killing the third hostage, according to an IDF spokesperson.

Mearsheimer is an interesting guy. One of the few old guard who will openly criticize Israel and AIPAC.

Yeah, I didn't think his argument was particularly convincing but good to have a guy like him that out that line of thinking.

He offered an alternative policy.  Sounds like you didn’t pay attention to what he was saying.  He said the United States should do what’s in its best interest.  Not just what’s in Israel’s best interest.  What the U.S. is doing with Israel is like buying a drug addict more drugs then acting surprised when bad things happen.

He also pointed out the host treating the situation like a conflict between two nation states.  Which is the same false dichotomy that gets trotted out in this thread every day.
