If you build a settlement outside your country’s borders and the international community doesn’t consider it to be your territory then it’s an illegal settlement.

if any other country in the world had done half of what Israel has done to us, they would have been bombed into the Stone Age by now.

We just deal with them because (1) they are the best of some of the world’s worst options, (2) AIPAC owns both of our political parties and (3) they make a nice regional counterweight to adversaries like Iran.
