That's incorrect in large part. Yes, there were fears of communism - no doubt. But the fascist ideology was inextricably opposed to communism. There were military and political leaders in the West who wanted to continue the war and use the Germans in large part to push the Russians back to the East.

Please god go and look up a definition of Genocide, hint it doesn't just mean eradicating every last member of that race. Also, you can make the combatant / civilian ratio whatever the hell you want if you're defining who is Hamas terrorists. They've found mass graves at two separate hospital sites now, weird that's getting a boatload less coverage than some random IDF guy pointing at some electrical switchgear in a maintenance room as proof of a Hamas base.

You seem to be conflating Israel's desire to eliminate Hamas with your own perception that Israel wants to eradicate or partially eradicate an ethnic group (Palestinians).

But they were also accompanied by de-Nazification in Germany and its equivalent in Japan. Who do you propose to conduct similar activities in Gaza post-war? If you rebuild in good faith, working with partners in the communities together to reconstruct their infrastructure and economy, radical elements become more marginalized.

Well the International Court of Justice seems to think my side of the argument is plausible, but hey maybe you and all the other international law understanders in here know better than them. You should get Arthur to make a few more jokes about it and post more Haha responses, what's not funny about thirty odd thousand (minimum) dead Palestinians right?

I can assure you I don't find it funny that 30k+ people have been killed no matter the reason and I don't think anyone in here considers it funny either.

April 22, 20241 yr This can't be right. I've been told repeatedly that Israel is the one causing a famine...

April 22, 20241 yr This is ridiculous. Maybe try getting control of your campus and making it safe for everyone to attend classes again. If I were a parent, paying damn near $80,000 in tuition, I'd be livid that my kid can't attend classes because the University feels the need to humor a bunch of lawless morons.

It really depends on the context though.
April 22, 20241 yr that university is going to see a tremendous drop in enrollment, and I don't doubt that they've had a lot of withdrawals from next year's freshman classes.
