Hamas wants Israel to invade, because they think they can inflict significant pain through an urban based guerrilla campaign. They also think it will rally Arab support to their cause - it is no coincidence this happens right as Israel and Saudi are trying to improve relations. They are wrong - Israel should give them what they want and roll in and wipe out Hamas.
