October 12, 20231 yr Biden and Blinken have given great speeches on Israel, while Trump condemns Israel and praises Hezbollah. Couldn't be more unAmerican and un presidentital. Donald Trump Criticizes Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Calls Hezbollah 'Very Smart'

I'm not familiar enough with the current geopolitical climate of the ME to know if the animosity is still the prevailing sentiment or has been pushed to fringes. I'd guess the former, but I honestly don't know. I just know that those levels of intense ideology always lead to indoctrination, which is how you convince people that butchering children is the only answer to "the problem". And when I say ideology, I'm not just referring to religion alone. Ultranationalists in Russia have no qualms about the thousands of civilians killed in Ukraine because they are perceived as traitors to Mother Russia, and thus their deaths are perfectly justified.
October 12, 20231 yr Something to note is that for as much as social media is fanning the flames of the fringe idiots here, it’s certainly also doing it around the world. There is still internet access in the gutter.

On Wednesday, a truck drove through Harvard naming and shaming students it claimed was connected to the letter. Faculty, students, and people online have been critical of the truck's tactics. On Sunday, several Harvard student groups released a controversial letter letter blaming Israel for the brutal Hamas attacks over the weekend. In the days since the letter's release, backlash against the student groups has escalated — and now includes a truck that drove around the Harvard campus displaying students' names and faces, according to the Harvard Crimson.

They did a "special" episode which kicked off the 3rd season to try and address Islamic terrorism in general, as well as government surveillance. But in the timeline of the show itself, it isn't referenced. Also, watch it. It is one of the best TV shows of all time.
