Man, I missed that gem of a post earlier. The fact that he stopped at 2016 seems almost too on the nose not to be a joke.

October 13, 20231 yr I'm glad the list of students supporting this crap is starting to make the rounds at banks and law firms. Throwing away their careers to try and be edgy.

I don't think too many banks or firms are interested in someone with a gender studies degree.

I think it's kind of chilling McCarthyism horseshit trying to ruin careers because somebody doesn't hold the consensus view that Israel should have carte blanche to turn Gaza into a crater because they suffered a horrific attack the other day, I'm old enough to remember when American's could hold a whole range of views on issues like this without being blacklisted before they left college. I'd also point out that supporting ordinary Palestinian's right to continue existing doesn't always equate with supporting Hamas, that's a leap of logic all too many seem to make.

The poster / flyer for the rally apparently had a paraglider on it. Now consider the source and all that, but assuming that's true, it clearly crosses the line from general support for palestinian civilians into overt support for Hamas (and vis a vis terrorism.)

I’m a huge critic of how Israel treats average Palestinians but there are times when your friends need critical advice, and there are times they need support.

If they want to hurt those students' future careers they should send that list to local community theaters and Starbucks shops.
