And some more sources:

Back in January, US Intelligence estimated that the IDF had killed 20-30% of Hamas combatants.  Hamas is estimated to have had 30,000 members at the start of the war. So 20-30% would be 6,000 to 9,000 casualties.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-said-to-believe-israel-killed-just-20-30-of-hamas-terrorists-in-gaza-fighting/

Back in January, Hamas claimed the total death toll was 25,000.  So using the US intel number of combatant casualties and the Hamas number of total casualties, that would put the civilian to combatant ratio somewhere between 1.8:1 and 3.2:1.

And again, this is using the Hamas total death figure, which has been shown to be very flawed, and at times seemingly made up.

So are you going to finally answer my question and give me an example of where I have made up my own statistics?  Or just come back 2 days later and make up another false claim that I haven't posted sources.....

So your only source is the IDF numbers?

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

No.  My source is IDF numbers, US Intel numbers, and Hamas numbers.  This was all laid out for you pretty clearly.  Is this one of those things where you fully accept the Hamas numbers but don’t accept IDF and US Intel numbers?  That would be a pretty interesting way to look at things….
Nice move of the goalposts too.  So you went from "you use made up statistics” to "ok so you have sources for your statistics, but I don’t like one of them!”

And care to back up your claim that I make up my own statistics?  Or were you lying when you said that?

Me: If you take IDF's data on Hamas combatant casualty numbers, US intel's data on Hamas combatant casualty numbers, and Hamas' data on total casualties, you get a range of civilian to combatant casualty ratios.

Dave: So your only source is the IDF numbers?

I certainly hope you use better reading comprehension and logic while educating our youth.

Pick your battles.  Dave is committed to being wrong about this war, and nothing you tell him will change his mind.

A much more effective tactic is to simply pile on the ridicule that he richly deserves.

I think you make up the statistics you post because they’re not close to being right.  However, if you’re using bad sources that could be the problem.

Yeah, I’m generally anti-colonialism but I’ll acknowledge that I miss sometimes.

lol that’s a funny non answer.  Ok Dave, why don’t you tell us how many Hamas combatants have been killed and what your source is for that information.
If you claim I’m wrong, then surely you know the right answer and have a verifiable source for that information.

Also, which of the 3 sources are bad? IDF, US, Hamas?  Are only two of them incorrect but one of them totally accurate?

Any day now, I'm sure @Dave Moss will let us know what the "REAL" number of Hamas casualties are and provide us with the "Good" source for that information.

Sinwar getting killed was inevitable.  Doesn’t change a thing though.

How many combatants did he tell you were killed in the war prior to his demise?

And that is true, it certainly won’t change you being a propaganda spreading shill for Hamas.
