It's a sad truth. I just hope the people themselves figure it out before that actually happens. I know it's easy to say, but they don't have to allow the worst among them to determine their fate.

The worst among them have weapons at the expense of the rest of the population. And FWIW, the unarmed civilian population there is in large part no good either, certainly the type of people you don't want moving near you.

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

It is no wonder why Egypt and Jordan don't want to take in the civilians.

Why is that?

Because when Hamas attacks Israel from Egypt or Jordan they don't want Israel attacking them. That's why they aren't wanted there.

How do you propose they fight back if they didn’t have weapons?

I hope they nuke eachother

I am so confused. I was told that any turmoil happening in the Middle East was Biden's fault, and that with Trump, there would be no more wars going on.

The U.S. will give Israel whatever it wants unless they decide to attack Russia.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Israel took out that regime in Iran and it was replaced by a legitimate government that gets along with the rest of the world. The biggest beneficiaries would be the people of Iran.

It’s so easy. Thats why it’s so frustrating that no one else has seen it until now.

Funny how you don't feel the same way about Russia.

it's no accident that @Procus admires former Iranian leader, Shah Pahlavi, a corrupt dictator who murdered everyone who didn't like him. At least @Procus is consistent in his taste for dictators.

The last time the regime faced a threat was during the Iran- Iraq war. The people by and large hate the government over there and want it gone. There very well could be a revolution sparked from all of this, especially if the armed forces are defanged.

Fair point. After the Soviet Union fell and Boris Yeltsin was in charge during the 90's, the country was chaotic. Putin replaced Yeltsin and restored some order. He pretty much broke with the west after what went down in Libya and Gaddafi. Right now, he's a strongman there, yes. But who do you have to replace him? And are the people in Russia, the masses, ready to see him go? Internally, Russia and Iran are two very different situations.

It doesn't matter. Russia needs to find a leader that doesn't launch invasions of neighboring countries.

In a rare moment of clarity Moss is right. I may bookmark this post for future reference and evidence.

Entering the 4th quarter now which will no doubt be quite hectic and full of action. In the end of the day it was always going to come down to this. There was no way Israel was going to allow full fledged nukes to be pointing at them from Tehran.

Trump - I don't imagine posting much about him in here but it certainly deserves a reflection as we get started with the final phase. Trump failed to prevent it. Of course he did. He had no real plan. All he had were a few tweets. The same plan that he has/had with Ukraine/Russia. He reminds me of an old CEO who once said "we don't need a strategy, our strategy is to have no strategy" (he was fired). Of course he will blame someone else. It might be interesting to see how Rubio behaves. One can hope that at some point Rubio will realize his legacy will be one big F tied to Trump. Too late for Marco to do anything about it now.
