Yeah, they're all hypocrites and lunatics, but we're not talking about the court of public opinion.  We're talking about passing bills through the House, not winning over every Republican in the country.

It's a weird line you're walking where in one thread you're taking the position that Ukranian funding is in danger and then in the other thread you're arguing that Dems shouldn't work with the right to put a sensible speaker in charge, which, if they took that position, would put Ukranian funding in danger.  It's a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Cult 45 doesn't have many actual philosophical norths, but protectionism is one of them.  They want no part of aiding Ukraine or Israel or Palestine.  In Trump's one man world view, he solved the Middle east already with a Jared Kushner handshake and its all Bibi's fault for screwing it up with bad intel that facilitated the attack and for not backing his coup.

Ukarine funding is going to be fine under Mchenry, which is what GOp is stuck with for forseeable future.

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

How, exactly, will they do that?

How will they get around Gaza?  Where will they find these needy civilians who arent Hamas?

You know terrorists need food, water, and medical supplies too.  They dont eat money.

Hilarious you say Im detached from reality when Biden said there were mechanisms in place but none of you can explain it, and it seems you believe the "mechanisms" arent even necessary.

Maybe the Biden admin needs you guys to explain how unnecessary they are, since it will be so impossible.

Now its food and medical supplies and not the $100M that you were carping about in your prior posts as if this aid could fund HAMAS terrorist acts. That's a nice tactic, just change your position every time is it explained to be stupid and then act like the new position is where you started. That's called a logical fallacy but I've seen the way you use the word logic, clearly you don't understand the concept, so chalk it up to you being dumb (chalk board is getting pretty full, btw).

The mechanisms are well established via organizations like the Red Cross that have been doing this in war torn regions for decades. All of the Palestinians in GAZA are ostensibly part of a terrorist organization. HAMAS is the de facto one-party government of GAZA. Humanitarian aid, food, medical supplies and such, going to GAZA cannot be perfectly separated for terrorists or non terrorists (the absurd position you want). That's what humanitarian aid is -- aid for humans who need help. It's not, however in the case of GAZA, readily turned into a currency that can be used to fund terrorist military acts. And don't be so hyperbolic that you equate feeding terrorists from aid goods to HAMAS saving money and then buying a gun or two with something that is substantive in this conflict. Israel is very likely bringing a real mechanized army to GAZA.

I get it, it's an easy simple minded way to looking at the $100M and parrot "Biden is feeding terrorists!" or you could try "Biden is putting diapers on terrorist baby butts." Whatever it is, it is a spin on humanitarian aid that you adopt to support your position that everything the current administration is doing is wrong. This one is weak unless your position is that the unnecessary death of Palestinians trying to evacuate GAZA is a good aspect of Israel's military action. I approve of Israel's military action -- they should take out the leadership, soldiers and infrastructure of HAMAS. I also approve of measures that save people caught in the cross fire.

Here's you contradicting yourself in the same post.

Its $100M.  What difference does it make whether its cash or supplies? Thats besides the point and has nothing to do with the question I asked which is "what are the mechanisms?"

And just recently Biden issued a statement saying 'if Hamas takes the supplies then the aid will stop' so youre off the hook anyway.  There were no mechanisms.   Hamas can easily steal them and probably will

There is a big difference between supplies and cash. This is the same nonsense you spew about Ukraine. The mechanisms exist and do not have to be created. This is what it looks like.
