Clearly the concepts are close enough to compare them although the events and people are different.

I have no idea what world the two of you live in to think that.

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

There is video circulating of them killing a Filipino worker by smashing/decapitating his head with a garden hoe. I'm beyond words at what the people over there are dealing with. It's not a time to point fingers or blame. I don't know what the response should be, but this is horrific.

To say that we aren’t actually giving them the money is disingenuous, as money is fungible.

If a gang banger can’t buy both guns and groceries, you buying him groceries just frees up money for him to buy guns.

You can keep saying that and it will still be wrong.

Your logic fails in that given the choice between funding terrorism and feeding their people, the government will let their people starve. Buying band aides isn’t freeing up ish if they weren’t going to buy bad aids in the first place. I believe we have enough cause to re-freeze the funds but trying to link that money as having anything to do with this attack ignores the countless other reasons why this conflict has been going on for over 70yrs.

Well, would anyone be shocked if/when that happened? Pointing fingers is asinine. So is saying "be prepared". WTF does that mean? Any Navy Seal classes still have availability for the fall?

The stories are heartbreaking.

Sorry, I love you bro, but this is silly. Fact of the matter is even people in the administration argued that those funds could/would be used for terrorism then, mere weeks after they were transferred back, a horrifyingly bold, brazen terrorist attack. Yes, Hamas hatred for Israel has been going on for decades, but nothing like this happened until the funds were given back.

There is not even evidence that any of the funds have even left Qatar yet. Something like this did happen before, do you think it’s a coincidence that this attack happened on its 50th anniversary?

You don't see how making financial funds available is an enabler?

CVN-78 is on the way. Our newest Carrier. So are the Seals.

The US will send a carrier strike group to the Eastern Mediterranean in support of Israel

The USS Gerald R. Ford and its approximately 5,000 sailors and deck of warplanes will be accompanied by cruisers and destroyers in a show of force that is meant to be ready to respond to anything, from possibly interdicting additional weapons from reaching Hamas and conducting surveillance.

Your first article says judicial reform was divisive  Your second article is about protests at a Supreme Court hearing - a hearing that could never take place if the judiciary was "dissolved".  You said before that the prime minister dissolved a branch of government.

So again, explain how the Israeli PM dissolved a branch of government - because the articles you cited say nothing to that effect.

You are well meaning but beyond naive.

I see prisoners in foreign lands released, and the cost was giving them back access to some of their own money, in a way we control what it can be used for.

You can think that is a terrible deal all you want. I disagree. You can also pretend the deal involved Hamas. I disagree.

I didn't offer an opinion on the deal but there is partial merit in the comparison of making funds available.

Here's what you're not getting:

1.  That wasn't their own money.  Federal courts have ruled that that money belongs to Iranian terror victims.

2.  Even prior to that, that was money owned and held by the prior Iranian government.  It does not belong to the criminal regime currently running Iran.

Ok. So let's see the evidence that Iran used the money for this attack.

That's a ridiculous statement.  Would you like to see a forensic audit tracing the money?

It doesn't matter what I think. It happened blood clot.
