Stay defensive there shorty

Hey TJ, remember that time you were too lazy to read a link in the very next post that pointed out the fallacy you fell for because your emotions got the best of you, and then realizing your error, you hilariously tried to claim those actions were prior to the Hamas attacks (another purely emotional reaction), only to be undone by your own illiteracy? Man, that's gotta be pretty embarrassing, right?

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

Step 1: Palestinian government commits a heinous atrocity.  The vast majority of the western populus and government give full support to Israel in condemnation.

Step 2: Israel begins a counter offensive in Gaza.

Step 3: Over the following months to years, further removed from the terrorist attack and with continued news of collateral damage from Israel's ongoing counter attacks, sympathy for the Palestinian people grows in the west.

Step 4: Return to Step 1.

Repeat forever

Yeah, Biden had been doing a good job, but the pause thing is caving. It was always going to be ugly like his spokesman said correctly to the reporter. Pausing and sending aid lets Hamas regroup and plan. They need to be wiped out and the pause can come when it's finished.

Let's not forget that Hamas has launched thousands of rockets at Israel before this all started.

Also, Hamas had the chance in 2005 when every Jew was forced out of Gaza to create a stable state for their people. Instead they decided to continue wage war against Israel. They want the whole thing not a two state solution.

No but I understand that reaction. Sadly, there has been so much hyperbolic ranting over the past several years, legitimate concerns along these lines get drowned out or lumped in with that ranting.

Question for those who blame Palestinian citizens for "voting" for Hamas in a single election 15 years ago... Would you guys also blame all 2016 Trump voters for what happened at the Capitol on Jan 6th? If citizens are to be blamed by proxy for the actions of a government they elected, then the same should apply there, no?

Those who voted for him in 2016 - no. While it was evident to anyone who did a modicum of due diligence that Trump was an imbecile with no respect for American government or institutions, most people were blinded by the marketing and messaging from things like The Apprentice to view him as some super successful business man. You had to be in the financial/business world to know the reality that he was a clown and con man. It would have been difficult for those who barely do any real diligence to unearth that he was a dangerous, narcissistic imbecile.

However, those who voted for him in 2020 and plan on doing so in 2024? Yeah, they own it.

Agree with most of your post, but not with the part where you had to be in the financial/business world to know he was a con man. All one had to do was have a few brain cells to rub together and listen to him speak for more than 5 minutes.

The next time you get anyone will be the first. Now reply so you think you won and got the last word and we can all go on ignoring you.

I meant to know he was an idiot without doing any diligence -- we all knew he was an idiot for years. Those on the outside would have had to listen to him speak, dig into his background, etc. Most didn't do any of that and just voted for the R.

You mean the link that shows the Biden administration pushing back against antisemitism even before the attacks by Hamas?

No, that is not the same thing.

TJ seems really emotional.  I hope he's okay.

You missed the point.

What point would that be? Explain what is so wrong with speaking out against discrimination of any form. "Hate” crimes have increased against both of these groups and it should be made clear that neither is acceptable.

Sorry, I didn't have time to explain.

You could argue he's emotionally broken to the point where he can't even read dates on a calendar. Seems to be a growing trend, unfortunately.

I think it's the presentation that one could have an issue with. It's good to see that they are taking action with what's been going on at colleges like the links you posted earlier. But in Kamala's original message in the tweet she only gave a specific example of Muslim prejudice going on. She mentioned anti-Semitism, but just kind of glossed over it with no specific example and just grouped it. Would it kill her to say something along the lines of "Our colleges need to be a safe place for children and what's been happening to Jewish students at some of these universities is unacceptable. We support free speech, but anything threatening is not acceptable"?

I don't think it's a coincidence the way they phrased that given that Muslim voters have come out against Biden and are threatening not to vote for him in the next election.
