I think it's the presentation that one could have an issue with. It's good to see that they are taking action with what's been going on at colleges like the links you posted earlier. But in Kamala's original message in the tweet she only gave a specific example of Muslim prejudice going on. She mentioned anti-Semitism, but just kind of glossed over it with no specific example and just grouped it. Would it kill her to say something along the lines of "Our colleges need to be a safe place for children and what's been happening to Jewish students at some of these universities is unacceptable. We support free speech, but anything threatening is not acceptable"?

I don't think it's a coincidence the way they phrased that given that Muslim voters have come out against Biden and are threatening not to vote for him in the next election.

I agree, the outrage must be equal

You're really parsing this out.  The administration's encouraged tolerance towards Jewish people and towards Muslim Americans since this started.  You're getting kind of in the weeds woke by subdividing how inclusive their language needs to be.

I'm really not if you look at what's going on. Biden's approval rating with Arab-Americans has plummeted to 17% (originally at 59% in 2020) after he came out and took a stance with Israel. They know they most likely have the Jewish vote since Jews typically vote Democrat regardless and most likely won't go over to Trump (71% on average democrat voters since 1968). Kamala was very careful in her message to only mention an example of an Islamic hate crime. I don't think that was by accident. They're towing the line with those voters to not turn them off by refusing to call out specific examples of anti-Semitic hate and instead emphasizing Islamophobia.

Ah yes, how can Biden possibly win without that coveted Arab-American vote? Second only to the lesser known Icelandic-American voting bloc. If they both flip, Trump's basically got it in the bag now.

Every vote matters in Michigan, Ohio, and PA.

They've called out anti-Semitism plenty since this started.  You're looking for motivations without anything to actually point to as an issue.  It's just classic identity politics woke stuff.

It's obvious Biden is caving to the anti-semites in his party but many here will never admit it.  Progressive bigotry wins again.

This was about Islamophobia so she talked about Islamophobia. The three examples I gave were about antisemitism so they were talking about, you guessed it, antisemitism. The message is pretty simple, stop hating people, period.

Obviously the board bigots are butt hurt that their Islamophobia is being put in the same conversation as Antisemitism. Maybe the motivations for the anti Islamophobia message wasn’t political, but in response to stuff like this.

Agree with most of your post, but not with the part where you had to be in the financial/business world to know he was a con man. All one had to do was have a few brain cells to rub together and listen to him speak for more than 5 minutes.

Definitely. I grew up in the northeast and knew him and his family were shady conmen long before he decided to run for office. I thought that was common knowledge at the time but obviously not. Him being able to convince working class citizens that he was fighting for them and cared about them was one of the greatest cons of all time.

We really should think about this entire campaign as a counterinsurgency campaign and not just a conventional military campaign because a counterinsurgency campaign reminds you of the crucial importance of not just offense and defense, but stability operations,” he said. "When (the United States) set about the task of destroying al-Qaida in Iraq during the ‘surge,’ we laid out for the Sunni Arabs — al-Qaida of course being a Sunni extremist organization — that life would be much better if they either helped us or at least stop supporting al-Qaida in Iraq, given that the extremists had caused so much damage and destruction and loss of life in their own neighborhoods.”

Doubtful that it'll get to him in that form.  The battle is House vs. Senate.
