Hamas broke the cease fire, not Israel. Hamas is the ELECTED leadership of Gaza, elected after Israel left Gaza in 2005 and handed the Palestinians a territory with infrastructure. Israel left and Hamas filled the vacuum. Israel now needs to go in, remove Hamas, and try to minimize collateral damage if they can. But it won't be zero. People will die. Just like Germans who weren't members of the NSDAP party died. 

^^^^ this.  War is hell and unfortunately, civilians die during declared war.  It’s been that way forever.

Those Palestinian tunnels are supposedly state of the art and very secure. Why do you suppose they haven’t moved the Palestinian civilians into them to protect them during Israeli attacks?

FWIW, several Israeli government officials have mentioned it as a possibility.
 

Obviously it won’t happen, but I do think it’s fair to say that there is more than a bit of bloodlust (understandably) among some Israelis.

That isn’t how that particular type of hellfire works. It doesn’t throw out blades like some ninja stars. The missile carries no explosive ordinance. Prior to impact it throws out arms that are designed to cause whatever it hit (usually masonry) to splinter and go into the room they were launched against. Say when you know what room a terrorist is sleeping in and you want to take out the room and not the building, or take out one car and not everything around it (a la Soleimani). So when the Israelis need to hit a building with civilians in it, which is often because, again, the terrorists are subhuman and use them as human shields, the Israelis will use that particular model of hellfire to hit the roof of the building, and since there’s no explosive ordinance on the missile, it just sounds like god knocking on the roof. It’s a signal that the Palestinian civilians know well: this is our warning to get out of the building, because it’s going to get hit.  As a way to mitigate collateral damage.

Here is the article I've been waiting for. Looks like Hamas is beginning to loose control of the Gazan population. Frustrated Palestinians are attacking Hamas police and cursing them openly each time rockets are fired towards Israel.

This won't last much longer if these reports are indeed happening of a more frequent basis.

Probably part of it but the vast majority of the building costs were paid with the aid money we give/gave them. We largely paid for those tunnels. Hamas is everyone’s problem, and that’s where the focus should be, eliminating them, not demanding that Israel throw their hands up and just accept that Hamas bested them this time.
