Larry Fitz was possessed that post season. We couldn't do anything w him. I was feeling good when we took the lead then we gave it back just as quickly . And I agree w the 4th down being PI. Was screaming at the tv

Yup Fitz definitely ate his Wheaties that post season.

I was rooting for them in the Superbowl.

Hated that Steelers team

To make things worse. Weren't the Jets bottom of the league in run D?

I think they were 29th. I don’t believe their Line is that bad, especially the way they manhandled our Line (effing Driscoll), but regardless, they should’ve been able to run more than 14 times with some success.

If you want a silver lining....a loss like this reminds of this game years and years ago. But Eagles have got to get their crap going

Sure seems that way.

Mahommes reminds me so much of the preferential treatment Tim Duncan got, anytime something doesnt go his way he makes that stupid face and starts pointing and whining and the refs throw a  flag then minutes after the fact.

It's almost as ridiculous as the NFL rigging the field in the super bowl to slow the birds down.

Ive stopped following the NBA because of how ridiculous it's become and I dont want to stop following eagles for the same

I'm serious getting to that point.

One of the worst called games I ever saw was eagles Bengals when Reid called 60 passes in a monsoon.

It was idiotic beyond belief, I think that was the McNabb didn't know a game could end in a tie game

This game is right up there with that dumpster fire

This may be a ridiculous hot take, but I think we're beginning to see the fatal flaws in Siri's coaching ability

The Dolphins are going to destroy this team on prime time television next week I can easily see us losing 5-6 games in that tougher stretch

High ankle sprain for Lane.  4-6 weeks I’m guessing?  The tough stretch just got a lot tougher

I had a buddy over to watch the sb that yr and had every intention of watching but when the game started I couldn't stomach watching it when it shoulda been us

And even tho he torched us a lot, Fitz was wanna those easy to root for guys

Not sure how this is a silver lining.

Eagles blew out the niners who were eventual super bowl winners.

After starting 6-2 eagles lost next 8 games.

So if the silver lining is eagles start 5-1 then lose 8 straight that's not a silver lining...

Hurts is definitely at fault, but the offensive play calling made no sense at all for most of the 2nd half. He really failed to match their DC and in some cases, made it easy for the Jets D to diagnose and attack our Off. regardless of their DC.

Jalen’s int late was really bad QB play. There’s no way around it. He stared his receiver down and threw to a doubled man in a zone. I can’t blame the OC for that.

Honestly, I don't give a F anymore
Wake me up when the coaches are players are ready to play to their full potential, because what the Eagles are putting on the field right now isn't worth my time

Exactly...49ers were horrible that day and yet won it all in the end.

They were uber talented and fell to a pedestrian Eagles team.

In the NFL it happens and in this instance woke up the 49ers.

Situational football almost lost us the Washington game, and it definitely lost us this game. Swift needed to stay in bounds. They would have gotten the ball back with maybe 1:20 at most left on the clock. Yes we can blame all the other stuff, that's all skill issues. But situational football is brains.

Yup

I hate to agree but I do and to play devil's advocate the dolphins lost a week after putting up 70 then the team that beat them the Bills lost to the Jags🤷‍♂️

It's a long season and any team can beat any team any week but I dunt like our chances☹️

This is the point where Sirianni and the leaders on this team need to step up and speak up. Yeah injuries sucked, but that’s not a good enough excuse. Guys flat out failed to do their jobs today. That’s part talent, but that’s also on all the coaches and not just Johnson. Sirianni didn’t have his team ready to play.

That eagles team was actually pretty good, Byron Evans the leader of that defense broke his leg Cunningham had his late season slump and they never won a game again that year

Also didnt help that kotite couldn't coach a mouse to eat cheese.

That niners team was stacked but charlie garners first game caught them off guard and that game got out of hand quick

Like I said the NFL is tough any team can beat any team any week.

Without establishing a running game (14 attempts) or a quick read dink and dunk scheme to keep Hurts upright or running around, Johnson gets a fair share of the blame. His failing to adjust and staying one dimensional made it easy for the Jets to dominate defensively - and with a scrub secondary too. However, Jalen was awful, I just think he was made more awful by his OC’s incompetence.

Yep and he waited too long on throwing that ball to Smith on 4th down as well...

Bad games happen. That 2nd half is one of the worst halves of Hurst career. He'll learn from it and bounce back.

Like I said, I'm not sweating the L, team will have my attention when they're playing to their potential and the coaches aren't  boardering on incompetency

Just focusing on the NLCS for the time being

I’m just playing around it was a bad L I’m livid. Totally avoidable

I think Driscoll just flunked out of Stoutland University. So overwhelmed that was straight trash on EVERY down.

The Eagles just abandoned the run, but they were having some negative plays that were putting them in second and third and long situations. The offense became throw it deep to Brown or Jalen runs it. They never tried to establish the run. It was a disjointed game, and although Jalen has blame on his hands for this game, he’s not the only one especially on the offense.

It wasn’t all Jalen for sure though. There’s a bunch of blame to go around and Sirianni should be number one, because his guys weren’t ready to play.

Oh no doubt, it sucked, but we have no control over the outcome.
