Vegas wanted some upsets today... it's all a stage folks lol. Well if we were to have a canon moment for the season I rather it be early against an AFC team so it doesn't impact the standings too much on tie breakers. A shame cause we could have pulled ahead of the 49ers. But now we have ammo for a coaching moment so they don't smell themselves. Hurts needs to right the ships because now he's a certified turnover machine. Could have thrown even more today. Hope the injuries aren't too bad .. Ricks looked bad 😞 F MetLife field

Glad someone else saw it that way....

The Eagles just abandoned the run, but they were having some negative plays that were putting them in second and third and long situations. The offense became throw it deep to Brown or Jalen runs it. They never tried to establish the run. It was a disjointed game, and although Jalen has blame on his hands for this game, he’s not the only one especially on the offense.

They abandoned the run before the game.

Just a bad game plan going in all together .

Also love Smitty but he needs to pull his head out.

I'm not sure what his deal is maybe being a new Dad or maybe brown blowing up about not getting targeted then hurts force feeding him the ball has got to him, either way he's been mediocre the last few weeks and if the eagles are going to win they need him to play well.

They screwed up fundamentally too. Plenty of blame to go around. They found ways to lose this game and they lost.
Hopefully the injuries are not serious and hopefully they’ll all learn from todays demoralizing experience - players and coaches.

I'm wondering if they were scared to run on that crap ass field because of what happened with Lane Johnson.

Just wanted to credit DeSai today on getting an almost completely banged Defense to keep us in this game today. Kudos coach.

Maybe.

I know we all got frustrated with Shane S from time to time but I don't recall him ever being as clueless as Mr. I've known Jalen Hurts since he was a boy.

There is way too much talent on offense to only score 14 points, regardless of the opposing defense. Johnson needs to figure it the F out and quick.

Yup. The Defense was very good today.

The Offense? Not so much. Basically, trash play calling, and horrible execution. Kudos to the Jets and their D Coaches.

It’s been 6 weeks, usually the coach would’ve figured something out by now. I don’t see him ever changing his gameplan if that’s even what you would call it.

They paid tribute to Mark Sanchez's time as an Eagle with this game. Exciting but not all that successful.

The opposing defense didn't even have their starting corners smh.

It wasn’t all Jalen for sure though. There’s a bunch of blame to go around and Sirianni should be number one, because his guys weren’t ready to play.

Yeah, the offensive coaching staff didn't really adjust to the injuries, to get the run game going.

Lots of uncharacteristic plays - interceptions, fumbles, missed fg, dropped passes.

You just cant let a team hang around that long and be -4 in the turnover battle and expect to win at this level regardless of the talent gap in the two teams. They'll really need to pull a few wins from the upcoming brutal stretch of the schedule now. 4-4 or better in the next 8

A lot will depend on these injuries. How bad are some of these guys hurt. I can’t help but feel if this game were at a different time against a different team Carter and Slay probably play. How bad is Lane, because that’s a major loss.

Ya .. if those other guys played on this crap field may have lost them for even longer. Already gotta play the Giants there. MetLife is a modern day Vet claiming bodies

Different situation for sure. The Eagles were smart to keep those guys out and they probably don’t change the outcome of this one.

The most creative play was the pass to Boston Scott where they had two back in the back field sent AJ Brown in motion with a fake reverse look then dumped it out to Scott in the flat then never went to that look again🤷‍♂️

I watch teams like the dolphins and niners who run misdirection and motion every play all game and really force defenses to be on their Ps amd Qs, so eagles finally decide to  run some misdirection and motion it's successful and they never go back to it🤷‍♂️

The Offense is just so vanilla and un imaginative especially considering the weapons Johnson has at his disposal.

Say what you will about shanahan and Daniels but as play callers and play designers they are light years ahead Johnson.

The Eagles secondary is just decimated by injuries right now, and I’m sure the price went up for any trade Howie was potentially trying to make.

Once Jake missed that FG, it hit me that it was just not the Birds day.

Blew a 14 -  3 lead to the Jets, with THAT QB. 😖

The Jets predicted our runs well and shut them down. Our guys were getting hit in the backfield. Its not like they didnt try to run. And we didnt have Lane so our OL lost like half its effectiveness.

AJ is the only positive today.

So was the Jets secondary.  The advantage we had at QB should have mitigated those injuries.

Hard to do that with the severe disadvantage we had at RT. We legitimately went from a guy who doesn’t ever give up sacks to a guy who gave up major pass rush every other play.

3 INT

Yeah you right. For some reason I'm still feeding this game should been out away beforehand based on the several dropped scoring drive killing drops/fumbles.

Hurts 3 picks, 2 of those was ABSOLUTELY not on him starting with the Goddard "catch/turned pick. The elbow bump duck pick, was questionable , he 💯 blew it on pick 3.

They abandoned the run before Kane went out which is what I'm getting at.

Should have saved that play for the redzone
