May be a hit take but I think hurts played better than the stats indicate.

One INT in a weird deflection off goedert that popped right up into the defenders hand, weird play.

Then the 2nd Interception driscoll get abused the DE hits hurts arm causing off target wobbly pass

His third Int was mind bogglingly horrendously stupid. Not sure what the eff he was thinking.

Up to that point he had made some plays and the negative plays were more bad luck including some uncharacteristic drops by Smitty

Other than that really bad throw I thought he was one of the guys that showed up.

Two freak picks. 1 bad decision pick. 1 bad decision dropped pick. Too much passing IMO. I get they wanted to exploit the corners but gotta mix in the run more. Made themselves one dimensional and easy to defend. Made windows tighter. Just an overall bad approach to the game. Jets went into pass rush mode and couldn't care less about the run.

He had a Quez moment... jumped for no reason... droppppp 😆

Or if Brown doesn’t slow down and keeps running. Or is Goedert doesn’t let a pass turn into an int to a lineman. Or if Smith doesn’t fumble. Or if Hurts doesn’t decide to play his worst half of football in two years. Or if the coaches did a better job. Or if Lane doesn’t go down. So many things added up and led to this loss.

Yup, bad game plan from the start, but given it was Brian Johnson's I'm not surprised...

Irrelevant.  The Jets offense had 4 possession's in the 4th quarter.

11 plays for 9 yards.

How is it "irrelevant” if a bunch of no named Eagles defensive backs held the Jets to 11 plays for 9 yards? I’ll tell why it is important, because the Eagles pass rush was getting to their quarterback just like their pass rush was getting to ours.

Or if Jake Elliot doesn't miss s chip shot FG...

That today was one of two things. It was either the team thinking they had it in the bag against a pretty poor team and that will serve as a wake up call. Or that was a team who simply aren’t what we hoped they were coming unstuck. Given how the first few weeks have gone I fear it may be the latter but hope it’s the former.

Which teams QB turned the ball over, allowing the opponent to score a TD while they ran 11 plays for 9 yards in the 4th quarter?

I’m sorry are you trying to tell me that Hurts had a bad game? He did, but are you that blind to see that one of his interceptions came off Goedert dropping a pass off his knee to a linemen? Are you too blind to see that pass rush you keep ignoring off Driscoll allowed Jalen’s arm to be hit and led to an interception too? I guess it’s only an excuse if it’s one of those quarterbacks you love right?

It wouldn't shock me if the team was looking ahead to Miami and gave New York an afterthought.

They definitely did not come in ready to play. Missed assignments. Dropped passes. Questionable play calling. A bad late int by the quarterback. Injuries, injuries, and more injuries. The injuries are the most concerning issue here. They were mostly spared the injury bug last year while this year they seem to can’t miss a game without at least one player going down for weeks.

The problem is… and I agree with your points but at some point we’ve also got to say Jalen isn’t playing well. And hasn’t really this year. Other than in bits here and there.

Today was the football gods making us see what it is like to have DAK prescott as QB, play well most  of the game and have a killer pick, next week back to your regularly  scheduled programing , have a good night

That is false

49ers lost to the Browns. Bills currently losing to the Giants. Chiefs struggled and barely beat the lowly Broncos. Bengals struggled and barely beat the Seahawks (Burrow had a horrible game).

Some perspective.

The biggest issue with Jalen is the turnovers. That is far more concerning than anything else he’s doing. I don’t get the play calling though. Why not try to establish a run game? Why in the world does it always seem like it’s go deep or a screen? The second half play calling in this one. What happened to the back dump offs? They were killing them. There were also some big drops. Brown not running out his route leading to an over throw. How many things are different if this team doesn’t give up four turnovers.

Oh.  So you were blaming the depth chart in the secondary, but now that I pointed out that same depth chart gave up 11 plays for 9 yards in the 4th quarter you are now trying to find someone else to blame.

You can try and spin it any way you want.  The fact remains, Zach Wilson was hit more, sacked more, the Jets had less secondary healthy, but after all that, only one QB turned the ball over 3 times.

Two of those turnovers were definitely not his fault. Only people who are haters would blame for those two. Beside the last pick was the most egregious, because he should never have thrown that pass.

2 of the INTS were not his fault, if you think so you have exposed yourself as just a hater troll

if you don't know that you are an idiot not just a troll

There’s plenty of blame to go around in this one. One a side note this is why we shouldn’t just have assumed in the Washington game that kicking the field goal would have won it. Sometimes kickers miss.

Lets not change the subject, I would like to finish this out.

You are trying to play the blame game here, and making the Eagles secondary your target with this post.

This secondary gave up 9 yards on 11 plays in the 4th quarter.

I want you to tell me where you were going with this before we move on.

Where did he blame the defense?

No I’m not. I’m telling you our RT is the problem. You’re trying to claim that the Jets had no secondary so it should’ve been easy, BUT YOU’RE IGNORING THE FACT DRISCOLL SUCKS!!!! My point is the Eagles had secondary issues as well, but the Jets did nothing, because the Eagles defensive line got to their quarterback as well. Hence the problem. A pass rush can kill a passing game. This isn’t difficult to understand unless you’re purposely trying to ignore it to rip Jalen Hurts.

And right after he said this, I pointed out the Eagles defense gave up 9 yards on 11 plays in the 4th quarter.

Clueless how am I "blaming them” if they gave up 9 yards on 11 plays? IT PROVES MY POINT.

Well the Buffalo game looks much more winnable
