Stop making the comparison, because there is none.

There is always a comparison to be made. You guys crack me up with your "comparison rules."

It's isn't nearly as funny as the constant Hurts excuses, honestly.

Remove two MVP-esque seasons from Allen and he's still far and away better and more productive, with lesser talent.

Maybe sit this one out dude, you've been getting killed in here.

Tbf, both times it looked like a good move overall when it was made. The difference between this time and the last is the no trade clause and the way it's structured makes it painful extremely early in the contract to bail out on it if we had to. For the next few years, he is definitely under center or on the bench no matter what.

The wentz debacle probably could have been predicted after foles.  tough to come back from that.  Hurts, well I mean he's Rodney Peete but probably not as good passing skills.  I would have never given him 50 million, but it is what it is.  We have so much talent I think he can still have success but it's quite possible teammates begin resenting him for what he's making and what he's producing.

I wouldn't of paid either, but I know why they did it. For me personally until you have a few years showing you are that dude, you are proving it still. Howie wants to get ahead to save 3 million a year lol

but they didn't need to pay him,  they could have tried to trade him after thet big year.  They had to see his limitations, but that would have been a gutsy call and I'm not sure we have the coaching staff to really coach up Jalen or someone else.  so there's that as well.

I said after 2021 I would of went a different direction...i feel 2022 was a stand out year like Ryan or Newton's mvp year and shouldn't be expected moving forward. The numbers prove that...his paycheck says Howie and lurie gambled and lost

Sometimes people get out of hand with their comments. How exactly did they gamble and lose? He’s taken this team to the playoffs every year since he’s been named the starter. His career record is 36-19. I could run off a bunch of guys here who make as much or more than Jalen who have a worse record than that. On top of that he’s doing it with an idiot at coach, a soft defense, constant new coordinators, and a fan base that never really had his back.

If the goal is playoffs and Todd bowles sends you home, then well worth it. If we can stay 100% healthy at all times, then well worth it. If we can keep drafting and producing pro bowl level lineman at all times including very competent backups, then well worth it... the fan base actually overall has his back. Significantly more love him than question him. Nick has the same win-loss record for an idiot head coach and deals with those coordinators that Howie picks for him(don't like nick btw but you cant use this argument to defend hurts and not nick), and that defense gets few financial investments and a crap ton of short fields due to hurts recklessness with the football...

As if even going to the playoffs is a common occurrence. Josh Allen has been hot garbage in the playoffs, but I bet you would be gushing all over yourself if he was our guy. Tall me how many times Wentz actually made it to the playoffs.

Wentz hasnt been here in quite some time....

And yes, I would love to have Allen on this team...as would 30 other teams lol

Wentz was that last guy here son. We can talk about Minshew or those other guys who haven’t won here if you like. Clearly if you’re soiling your pants for Allen then it’s really not about winning to you.

Howie needs to call the browns and trade for Myles Garrett. Throw in Winston and we’ll give them a real franchise qb in hurts 🥴

Allen has one of the highest winning percentages in the nfl?  Jalen is 2-3 in the post season and josh is 5-5.....

Beyond jalens superbowl performance,  he hasnt been great in playoff games.

I get defending jalen, but like the dude above said.... Josh Allen isn't the guy to compare against

Real rough day to be a "josh allen is so great" guy.

So hilariously false you should probably never post here again.

How many more false arguments that Hurts and Allen are comparable do we need to put to bed?

They both play qb and weren't great at it when they started....that's about where the comparison forks and becomes two different stories.

When are we getting a real Franchise QB? So frustrating that twice in a row we have had regressing QBs when we thought we found the guy.

Maybe we can try to get Wentz back?

BTW, one thing that Wentz was able to do was work with whatever receiver you gave him. He made Fulgham seem like a pro bowler. It would be interesting to see what he can do with the weapons we have. A decent QB should be able to put up 300+ yards every week with these weapons, easily.

Gotta move on from wentz lol . Definitely need more production from the qb position, but I'll just take jalen not turning the ball over and distributing to the talent like purdy vs whatever the hell he is trying to do now. With the money tied into him, he is the dude one way or another

It's no longer 2023. We are currently 2-2.

I know your camp has to keep hammering "the 'historic' collapse unlike ever witnessed before in sports and even before sports were invented ..." But that is so 2023. BTW, when posting 2023 stats, I just want to remind you that the season stats didn't begin on December 3. Hurts isn't just 3-8 in his last 11 games, he's also 13-9 going back to the beginning of last season. But I digress... He and the team are 2-2 this season and have 13 more regular season opportunities to play better football.

The point is neither player wins in the postseason, but who would you rather have as a coach? 6 seasons 5-5 and that does it for you?😂🤣😂

Didn't know we were discussing coaches lol if that goal post is being moved to coaches....neither XD

Pretty sure he leads the league in turnovers since the beginning of 2023 and not since December 3rd.... also, this is pretty much the same team we are fielding. Offensive scheme has a little bit of motion now, but Jalen runs it the same and the defensive scheme is literally the same scheme lol we lost two of our leaders to retirement and our sack leader was replaced with a guy who has as many sacks as i have had sincw high school. so we may actually be worse
