I was just reading a Giants board thread on the game (https://corner.bigblueinteractive.com/index.php?mode=2&thread=639548&thread_page=1) and there's some comments about the uniforms. Some of them really like them, but also noticed some differences between these and the real Kelly Greens worn in the 80's and 90's. 

To me, I think these new versions are just a tad too light, but I also recognize that in the 80's and 90's, we didn't have HD TV's, and HD can definitely make colors look different, more vibrant. 

I'd like to see some side by sides of a 90's jersey with one of these new ones. An original helmet with a new one, too.

I was thinking they would look good with black helmets and black pants. But that is just to mix and match. The uniforms last night were awesome. Seeing the ACTUAL Eagles logo on the field for the first time in 20 plus years was outstanding and very nostalgic. I wish they would keep it that way going forward. That logo is so much better that the Eagle head logo.

They look a lot better than those Kelly Green jerseys they wore a few seasons ago.

Okay I just visited that Giants board and I got some things to say. That board is the most disjointed mess of a forum I've ever seen. Posts bleed into each other, it's the most bland boring backdrop I've seen on a website in a long time.

Their boards are as big of a mess as their football team. Giants suck so much ****. I would struggle to spend more than a couple minutes on that forum. What a cluster ****.

Yeah, the structure of that board isn't great. They've been around for a long time though, so I guess it works for them. I've scrolled through their board off and on for maybe 15 years... and some of their members have some 'special memorabilia' that might link back to me...

I'm watching some of the game on an older (2003ish) LCD TV that's on it's last legs, but is good enough as a second computer monitor and the color definitely looks a tad darker on that TV than it does on my brand new (8 months old) 65" TV. 

So maybe the color is exactly the same as back in the day, but new TV technology makes it look a little different.

Definitely too much green. Plus, the green is a LIGHTER shade than the old Kelly green. Personally- I though they looked like crap. Mix in some black helmets or pants- but they look like the uni's you get your kids on Christmas. I'll stick with Midnight green. 💯

The ones they did back with DeSean and Vick whatever year that was, those looked bad. They weren't the right color and the helmet and pants didn't fit well with it.

This year's update is closer to the original while also giving it a bit of a modern update that IMO works really well.  I saw a lot of social media comments last night from fans around the league who said they don't even like the Eagles, but they loved the Kelly Green uniforms.  They look fresh, the silver pants works well.  

Maybe the helmet is too much and a silver helmet would be better.  But I still like this, and I would love it if they would just go back to this permanently.  I never liked midnight green.  it was a late 90s trend toward those type of colors and logos especially in the NBA.  They should have kept Kelly Green but made these kind of modern updates to the look or had different accent colors or something.

Yeah, 2010 wasn't right at all. These are much closer, and maybe identical but like I said, maybe the HD is what makes it look a little different. I'd like to see a side by side of something from back in the day and something new. Mayve if we win the Super Bowl, I'll order a Kelly Green something (helmet or jersey) and compare it to my old gear from years gone by.

There is no maybe about it , what you saw on TV back in the day is not an accurate representation of reality, it is actually not even close

When Tua did the behind the back toss, Collinsworthless probably creamed his pants. Then once the Eagles dominated he was forced to talk about them.

Had the Dolphins won, the media would've played that clip a hundred times this week and crowned them.

Some of you need perspective & to look at what's happening around the league.

Eagles are 6-1. Some fans were scared of the Dolphins, scared of the 40whiners, and even the Cowboys. 

Y'all need to look around the league. Chiefs have struggled at times, lost to the Lions, only beat Jets by 3, almost lost to the BRONCOS then only beat them 19-8.

Bills struggling, barely beat the Giants, lost to the Jets, Patriots & Jags. 

Bengals lost to the Browns, Titans & barely beat the Rams.

Yeah, but I'm also taking into account my own Kelly Green gear (jackets, hats, jerseys, sweat shirts/pants and shirts). Also looking at photos taken at games and such. But even photos can be deceiving due to lighting, settings of the camera and various other things. That's why I'd really like to see a physical side by side comparison.

The Chiefs are really really good no doubt about it. But they don’t scare me. The only team that scared me because of the match up was Miami… And look what we just did to them.

Eagles fans need to start accepting that every team is flawed, teams are up and down from week to week.  The better teams find ways to win.  Guess what? Eagles fans need to embrace that despite the mistakes and frustrations we see, they are the best team in the NFL.  Other teams should be the ones concerned about them.

I think the thing is other teams perhaps have more to be concerned about them? The Niners have a dynamic offense with multiple weapons. The Chiefs have Mahomes. The Phins have so much speed. 

But you are right I think we also get very microscopic about things as we live and breath the eagles.

Playoffs Chiefs and Mahomes should scare everyone. They ascend to a whole different level come playoff time. We need all of the defensive weapons we can get if they manage to get back to the Super Bowl for an Eagles rematch.
