Pretty solid. Really liked the bad orion gal by the end. She was very hatable.

agreed. always wanted to see more of the orion angle. 

on the 5th season of DS9. Ep 6, trials and tribble-ations. yes another time travel episode for the franchise, but this one was one of my favorites.

I also loved this episode. Had forgotten about it until a rewatch last year.

yeah, def a nod to the original series. well written episode. 

I've had the bluray for awhile now but kept procrastinating on watching it. Started up season 3. I think I'm only on episode 2 or 3

I don't understand how she's reluctant to Starfleet now after only a year of being away. I'd understand more if it had been like 5-10 years or something but 1 year away doesn't make sense to me

Lol I initially thought they were going the route of that's her son but when the flirting and all happened I realized he was going to be a fling in this season for her

 

I forgot this show is good at building up a season to the end

I'm curious what happens now since they can jump without him. Throughout the season he had this ego because he was the reason they could jump

Also the discovery protecting the crew is pretty cool

So she took the role and decided to stay with Discovery. It was a good thing. I was getting annoyed by the rebel part of her

I hope they bring back georgiou because she's a good balance to pretty much everyone on the ship

I noticed the push and thought it was funny but a show about aliens doesn't bother me if one decides they prefer "they" pronouns. There's been lots of strange customs from different species in the star trek universe. It was just strange they did it with a human

She's been really reckless for someone as high ranked as her. She doesn't really care about the rules. Curious how this works with her being a captain

Only half way through season 2, but this is hands down IMO the best Star Trek show of all time original and TNG included. I get how some may not care for it with the linear storytelling and darker tone, but I freaking love it.

Yes all of them and love it. Started slow, but honestly it was amazing. 

Finished season 3. Really really disliked burn explanation and that whole arc on the holo ship, but otherwise super exciting end to the season. I think 2 was best so far, but excited for season 4. I still prefer their method of continuous story arc and action vs older episodic Star Trek

Anyone watch the opening episode for S4?  I thought it was pretty good.  Sets up what S4 could be about with how it finished.

strange new worlds is a real good show. 

 

love that they finally got into the christopher pike time as captain and the fact that this starts after the events of the menagerie.
