It seems like the whole world expects the 49ers to throttle the Eagles. They just don't get it. This is Philadelphia. Everything we enjoy was born here because a group of determined men refused to quit. It's in the very earth here. It's is the DNA of the people here. No matter how uphill the battle, we will never quit.

From the men who chose the freeze to death at Valley Forge rather than quit, to the round the clock 24/7/365 contributions of the men and women to both industry and the military during WW2 that was required to win, they never quit. Here, we never quit. Win lose or draw, we never quit. When we win, it's the main reason we do. We can be down, but we're never truly out, because we never quit.

Our Eagles have taken on that mantra, that axiom, that tenet, and have done so in fine fashion. They make us proud because they never quit. Down at the half, no worries, they never quit. Banged up and playing 3 games in 13 days? Don't worry, the Eagles never quit. Niners coming to town with the advantage of much extra rest? Don't worry, the Eagles never quit. Hurts and the guys will be ready. They'll never quit, and because they never quit...

The Eagles are going to win.

No. There's nothing wrong with a little rah-rah before the game.

I was wrong though. I'll admit that if it helps you in some weird way.

The eagles had a good run but i think this is where the wheels fall off. This happens a lot to teams that start out hot. Better to get hot later in the season if you ask me

Exactly why i posted the "luck" thread...this teams smells and feels eerily similar to the 2020 steelers. we'll see if they take yesterday to heart and make some major changes
