eagle45 Posted December 17, 2023 Share Posted December 17, 2023 I think this injury will show everyone that Slay is less important than everyone thought. He may do a better job of doing his job than anyone else in the secondary, but that doesn’t matter much if he’s not good enough to shadow and contain one weapon (he’s not) and the rest of the secondary is just giving up plays left and right. Maybe we’ll get treated to watching Ringo getting beaten more, but the net result with the secondary isn’t going to be any worse without Slay.
