Good signing.

He's not coming back, but he jokes that Howie had to wait til he was gone to sign a big name RB.

Like when your school finishes the new cafeteria after you graduate

"Got any more of them FA signings?"

James Franklin is the only college coach in the world that would have a talent like Barkley and instead choose to feature a QB like Trace McSorley.

That said, it looks like Howie just did with this signing everything you preached he would never do.

Based on the posts you quoted you should have an idea of what I think of Barkley, hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

You're kidding?  Barkley was a monster in college.  He was probably the best back out of college since Adrian Peterson. The biggest issue..Especially the last season was the O-line at Penn State was awful and the running plays were bland and generic.

Sorry, when I tuned in I didn't see a monster in college nor with the Giants, maybe it was his OLs, we shall see.

When your 5ft 11 230lbs, tree trunk thighs and outrunning and running over college footballs best on multiple kick returns and sweeps. Yup yup, that's a monster.

For 230lbs he's not very physical, hopefully he'll play well.

I think Aaron Jones would have been a better pickup, I think he's been the best back in the NFL for the past few years, he's one hard running SOB.

This is the equivalent to posting James Bradberry highlights when he was good in Carolina. Truly you don't believe he's the same player after the injuries? He's clearly lost a step...not that he's not still good, he's just not the same player

I always loved Jones’ game. He just can’t stay healthy but neither can Barkley.

I wasn't aware he had health issues, can't seem to pickup those Wisconsin broadcasts.

You are seriously sick in the head.

Those highlights included 15 plays and not a damn one displayed any physicality what-so-ever.

Watch those highlights again, this time open your eyes and reply back with which one of those 15 plays displayed a HINT of physically.

I'm actually going to back you up here.....  Like I mentioned earlier in this thread power running isn't really Barkley's game. Sure he can run with power I never said he couldn't but, that's not his bread and butter.

Apparently, the video embedded time stamped. I'm guessing you missed at least half the video? But since you asked, I captured some of his "physicality" from the highlights. I didn't include every run where he ran through a tackle or 5. Here are a few that show "physicality."

Just to clarify. I'm not calling Barkley a power runner. As I stated before, he has a complete game and in most cases it would be stupid to run into somebody when you can run around him. When it comes to his elusiveness, IMO, his physicality gets lumped into that category. Elusiveness allows you to make tacklers miss. Strength, which Barkley has in bunches allows you to break tackles. He has the ability to do both on the same play and people maybe don't appreciate it as being physical.

Honestly a lot of times he's more physical than he needs to be. Runs into someone and takes wear when he could just run right past him. He has the kind of build that can surpass the running back ceiling age if he stays healthy because he could spend his early career in speed, and his late career in power. Just needs to think about it correctly. Same reason why LeSean didn't really slow down all that soon.

Don't know why we got Saquon Barkley.

Jalen Hurts is a ball hog down near the goal line and everywhere else on the filed.

D'Andre Swift 5 rushing TDs

Jalen Hurts  15 rushing TDs

Barkley ain't getting no TDs. Only QB1 gets TDs.

Yay, another RB we'll give 5 carries a game to 😆

I think that changes this year. Kellen Moore made Tony Pollard a star and this signing was all Kellen Moore.

Saquon is gonna feast here. Every stat he’s had in his career has been accumulated with major Oline issues. Not anymore
