Thats too much going on for me to enjoy shrooms, I prefer the enviroment calm, almost meditative.

Trump reclassifies state-licensed medical marijuana as a less-dangerous drug in a historic shift

https://apnews.com/article/medical-marijuana-rescheduling-justice-department-trump-cannabis-1d6722d3aae122b1a91f8e4b6c690268

The order signed by Todd Blanche does not legalize marijuana for medical or recreational use under federal law. But it does change the way it’s regulated, shifting licensed medical marijuana from Schedule I — reserved for drugs without medical use and with high potential for abuse — to the less strictly regulated Schedule III. It also gives licensed medical marijuana operators a major tax break and eases some barriers to researching cannabis.

The Trump administration also said it was jump-starting the process for reclassifying marijuana more broadly, setting a hearing to begin in late June.

Blanche said Thursday that the Department of Justice was "delivering on President Trump’s promise” to expand Americans’ access to medical treatment options. "This rescheduling action allows for research on the safety and efficacy of this substance, ultimately providing patients with better care and doctors with more reliable information,” he said in a statement.

Didn't this already happen?

Biden got the ball rolling. It is officially Schedule III when acting AG Blanche signed the order. https://www.justice.gov/opa/media/1437441/dl

Effective April 22, 2026.

My guess is it took 2 years to undo all of the legal ramifications.

It sounds like the AG was dragging their feet and the EO Trump signed forced their hand to take it to the finish line.

Sounds like it was a a little of both. Well Trump's pretty gracious and more concerned with results than getting praise for something so I'm sure he'll happily share the credit with his predecessor.

I had a buddy who drank loads of some sort of special tea for a couple weeks so he could pass a piss test. Not sure what that stuff was called but it apparently worked.

Buddy of mine in college found out he needed to take a drug test for his new job and had like 2 weeks to pass it. He wasn't a HUGE smoker (couple times a week), but was still a close call.

He basically went to the gym in heavy clothes, sweated like a pig and drank an obscene amount of water. Passed.

ChatGPT says using the super hydration or detox tea approach may cause the lab to signal the test which many employers will treat like a positive test.

Back in high school, my cousin had to test to get a job at Costco. He smoked daily, so probably the heaviest user I've been around. It was a urine sample test, so he stopped smoking for a week, drank obscene amounts of water and some type of smoothie thing, and got the job. One of his other pot head friends told him passing a piss test is easy, but a hair test is almost impossible to beat. I've only taken two tests, a cheek swab test and a piss test. Passed both but I was nervous about the cheek swab because I remember that story about the hair test being tough to beat and wasn't sure if the cheek swab test was gonna be an issue since I had smoked a month or so prior while still in college. Thankfully no issue. By the time I had the piss test, I had stopped smoking altogether for over a year.

I know drinking a ridiculous amount of water can do it but, although it raises your creatine levels which would be considered a failed test.

The mouth swab is actually only if you used in the last day or 2. The hair and piss test are the tough ones especially hair because that can trace it for up to like a year or some sheet like that. The urine test is something like a month plus depending on how heavy you use. Thank you for the response! I'm trying to decide if a new job is worth giving up edibles or not lol.
