I thought most people liked the pick, but I do recall some people trashing the kid and some of their reasons had nothing to do with his abilities from what I recall. The kid is playing well. Both corners are playing well.

Coop had 16 solo tackles vs. Cowboys + 3 assisted. Plus he had a monster return on special teams.

I don't think that Maddox will see the field...as in EVER while Coop is back there playing the way he does.

I am beginning to Love this kid. What a diamond in the draft. He single handidly raised my evaluation of 2024 draft

Wasn’t he also in on the play where Elliott fumbled it? I thought he was in on the tackle with Baun and then followed it up with the recovery.

I don’t think he was in on the tackle. Just going by memory, his positioning was more away from the play, but in good position to chase the ball for the recovery.

ESPN stats makes errors too.. Now I am reading that he had 3 solo tackles..in Cowboys game.  yesterday they published different numbers about the game and in the article he had 16+3. I just qouted.

I did not count his stats. I simply saw him all over the backfield during the game. My guess that his stats will go down, because other teams might void him.

Im still waiting for this all mighty cap hell to happen lol. Yes we have had some  difficult years with the cap than others but, never hell lol

Mitchell is the ultimate pro/shut down corner, but DeJean is a flat out playmaker. The guy is making huge tackles in space, getting sacks, returning kicks, recovering fumbles, and breaking up passes. The last time the Eagles drafted two great corners at the same time was Sheldon and Lito, but these two might be better. 

He's my favorite player of the draft. I predicted Howie would move up in the 2nd and grab him. He is turning out to be worth the pick.

Mitchell is already better than Lito. I liked lito but he was good for a short amount of time and was never a lockdown corner

I agree. I actually think the combo of Coop and Mitchell are already better than Brown and Lito, because they’re starting as rookies.

starting out the gate isn't as easy when the previous starters were bobby taylor and troy vincent.

 

fwiw, sheldon started 10 games his rookie year too.

I still take these two over Lito and Brown.

Loved the pick and the value at getting him in the 2nd round. Good football player.
