I'm disappointed that Barkley won't get the record, especially vs. the Giants. That would have been fun, but getting a ring would be a lot more fun. So go get that ring!

You act like 101yds is guaranteed. The decision was made last week at Dallas when they pulled him. 2k got him a 500k bonus. If they wanted the record. Barkley easily could have had another 30-50yds.

It's really a big letdown. I also believe rest can equal rust. So we watch the battle of the third stringers today I guess. Almost hope the Giants win to tank their draft spot

Not worried about rust. In 2004, Reid sat guys for basically 3 weeks, and they made the Super Bowl without issue. In 2017, they sat guys against Dallas, and had the bye, and no issues in the post season. This team has played non stop since week 6. Rest can only help IMO.

Sucks Barkley won’t get a chance at the record but I get it. This game means nothing for them.

I wish the NFL allowed to pull the tough guy fans out of the stands to play in games like this.  no need to get actual athletes injured, let those tough guys live their dream today, and get destroyed

Just hoping to see some of the young players play well and watch the Giant tank their draft position.

One last thing about Barkleys record talk... if he caught the ball against Atl, he'd be playing today. Same with Smitty. If one of them caught the ball, this game wouldn't be meaningless. Let that sink in.
