I don't understand him.  He hits FGs in the swirling wind and snow (one as long as 44 yards) but can't hit XPs, what even is that?

they set up on the left hash and all his kicks started and went left.  it didn't make any sense.

May need to consider resigning Gainwell. He’s a solid backup.

maybe he doesn't practice then enough? Like how basketball players don't work on free throws as much as they should. I don't know, I'm just speculating. Like I said, he used to be clutch and now he's really unreliable. a kicker is just important as any other players when you need them. Just ask Scott Norwood.

No, nobody wants a loss. I think they'd rather have a QB who doesn't do dumb things like take a Safety he could avoid. Almost every week Hurts has several inexplicably dumb decisions. It's maddening to watch. Goes back to the game losing fumble in the SB. He's no elite QB. He's an average QB with plus athletic traits. Don't get me wrong, he can have a very good game here and there, but he almost single handedly lost this game today. He doesn't inspire confidence.

If we're talking about "what ifs"... what if Aj catches that ball? What if Lane doesn't false start?

I’m sure jalen will play next week.  No way they start Pickett with bad ribs or Tanner who has no playoff experience.

IMHO he has the yips. Once that happens you either eventually figure out and get back to normal or your done.  They probably bring in competition for next year and make a decision.  Hope he figures it out.

I would rather have the QB that wins the game and did not turn it over but threw for less yards, when is the parade for stafford and is 300 yards today, will it be moved to  Arizona

No kidding really?

the problem is they think this is great because they won, but you do not win superbowls playing like this.  you don't.  so it's not good enough.

These facts don't fit their narrative

Lane didn’t false start.  Rams defense got away with simulating the snap and he jumped.  It should have been a flag on the defense and the penalty would have been declined with a TD as the result instead of a FG

Well, with Saquon on the team we can't expect Hurts to throw it 40 times a game. I agree the play calling was suspect. Still, Hurts must be better than he was today if they want a real shot at winning it all.

I always thought Moore’s play calling and Hurts QB style were incompatible. The passing game has definitely taken a hit cause Jalen is not the pocket QB Moore expects him to be. Jalen is an RPO QB, period. But those days as an exclusive RPO guy are over. He’s just not functional as a full time pocket QB, and with all that talent around him, he’s  actually a slightly below average QB. He’s honestly the weakest link on this offense if you think about it, but he just needs to be serviceable and limit the mistakes. He doesn’t learn from them though as evidenced once again in todays game.

If Aj catches the ball and Lane doesn't false start, would he have been better? Hurts was fine. He's protecting the ball. That safety was on Moore.

I STILL do not see what is so special about Moore....there are times where I absolutely DESPISE the playcalling and there are times it looks just absolutely stupid.....maybe its just me....

The oline is not that great at pass blocking

Other than Hurts has the 2nd most time in the Pocket in the NFL.

True. Just hate the bs safe d. I don’t get why they do that to us when they get up two scores.

Vic and Jalen have a lot in common. Both don’t learn from their mistakes.

Moore isn't anything special.  better than what we had but not as good as Steichen in my opinion.  I would love it if Moore when to cowboys and colts fired Steichen

These so called 'fans' seem to never take those intangibles into account when it comes to Hurts....I have resigned myself to the fact that there are people here who just will not like him no matter what...it is what it is....

Moore is just the latest in a line of scapegoats for Jalen Hurts slow brain synapse

Moore's playcalling is limited by Hurts.

It's not about what if's. It's about watching Hurts glitch into slow motion trying to make a decision, and then he just holds the ball and takes a sack, a safety, or whatever. Hurts is what he is and as long as Howie can surround him with the right guys, he can have a lot of success. I just don't see an elite QB in Jalen Hurts.

Is that what it is? Or does Moore expect him to be a great pocket passer? Which he is NOT....he is pretty much an RPO QB....but the league has caught up to that and so now here we are....

I don’t agree that Pickett is better in the pocket; at least not consistently. Hurts will always give us our best chance to win, but he seems slow to make decisions at times and it costs us. I don’t know it’s the play calling or the D scheme, but he seems slow when he has to make more than two reads.

If anyone thinks that Kenny Pickett gives the Eagles a better chance of making the SB, I don't know what to tell them.

Hurts had a couple of bad plays out there, but there were a lot of bad plays out there by a number of guys. They need to stop shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. The Brown drop, the ineligible man downfield and the Lane false start took 3 TD's off the board.

They changed the way they called the game on offense after the safety, they aimed to lean on the run and roll Hurts out. They also didn't want to run their bread and butter sneak play because Hurts may not have been able to get low enough for the snap or had the strength to push the pile.

Unfortunately hurts recently has provided a lot of evidence to be concerned and criticized.  You can put Moore in that category as well.

I agree.  People are so quick to crap and dump on Hurts but he is a winner.  And he is a leader.  And he is 26 years old.  He needs some offensive coordinator consistency and he needs to get better about getting the ball out of his hands and not taking bad sacks.  I think its very reasonable with this growth mindset to improve there.  But IMHO part of that is coaching and gameplan.  They need to reinforce that with coaching and playcalling and I don't think they are doing that enough yet and its holding them back.

There are only 3 QBs I would take over Hurts.  Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow.  That's pretty damn good be thankful for what you have.  All the rest of the guys in the league are killing their teams with awful INTs etc.  Hurts wins football games.  Howie knows how to build and maintain a roster.  He knows that counting on a QB that can carry you solo to a Super Bowl is a fools errand.

He’s done that his whole career. Make the long FG and miss the PAT.
