May need to consider resigning Gainwell. He’s a solid backup.

then nick should take accountability because that's his hire, not to mention if he's a great offensive coach that everyone says he is then there's no reason for our offense to be this bad because andy lost coordinator's and the offense didnt take a step back with eagles and the chiefs. it's great that they are the playoffs but there are serious flaws in this scheme that's why i dont have them winning the sb even before the playoffs, nick has to prove that can win a sb or else, they have to go to a new direction otherwise it's going to be the same issues and wasting talent over coach you refuse to replace.

They scored 28 points in some crap conditions and it would have been 30 if not for two missed extra points

Except that's not true at all. Moore has his weaknesses as a play caller and it was visible in both Dallas and LA.

It's unreasonable to expect them to coach/play a perfect game, what they have right now and the identity of the team is good enough to win it all

Not true at all, eh?  Do tell.

He had an amazing season year before last you make it sound like its always like that.  And that was the second year with Steichan other than that he has never had the same OC two years in a row.  You think that doesn't matter?  You think I don't believe he has some flaws?  I can live with them with Howie's roster building if between Hurts and the OC they can improve on the bad sacks.  I just happen to think its doable.  What's the point in assuming its not? Call my a positive guy I will own it.

I didn't say he was the 4 best QB I said I would only take 3 other QBs with Howie's roster building.  Those are not the same thing at all.  Hurt's isn't killing his team with picks.

I like Jayden Daniels alot but he is a ROOKIE.  Take Stroud last year he was hailed as all time rookie next huge thing.  How has he been this year? He just destroyed his teams ability to win yesterday.  Jayden Daniels still has to go throw all the things every rookie does.  3-4 years of every D coordinator figuring out your weaknesses and game planning you in off seasons.  Maybe he will end up great maybe not.

Hurt's is through that.  He has a couple steps to take to complete his transition into a good QB.  Much rather hope you can make them with all his other good intangibles than crap all over him and root against him.  Sounds like a crap way to watch Eagles games imo.

🥱

I official quit this thread, If i post in here again this season I want to be banned, I have had enough of the stupidity, I cut out WIPs garbage now this, it is unbelievable, good riddance morons, yeah start the 3rd string QB in a championship game.

VA PLEASE BAN ME IF I POST IN HERE AGAIN THIS YEAR!! I NEED TO BE CUT OFF FROM THIS THREAD

It's been like this for years man. Backup is always the Negadelphians favorite and when that backup plays the same idiots are calling for the 3rd string.

You're being silly. The 49ers parted ways with George Siefert because his wins weren't "pretty enough." This was after 6 playoff visits in an 8 year stint that included 2 Super Bowl victories. It took them 5 coaches over the course of 15 years to make it back to the Super Bowl, let alone win it, which they still haven't done 20+ years later.

If anything, Sirianni is doing awesome considering he's hiring new coordinators every year. I hope Moore and Fangio stick around for a while

He's the closest thing to a pro version of USC Reggie Bush

you forgot the safety..I thought the eagles were losing after that put them up by only 1

Nostalgic Eagles win, placing victory into the jaws of defeat and then snatching it back from the jaws.

All Hurts has to do next week is be efficient in the passing game, protect the ball, and take enough pressure off the run game to allow Saquon to feast.

Sacked seven times holding onto the ball too long, plus that ridiculous safety, despite our good offensive line.

My bookie has the Eagles giving 4.5 to the Redskins next week. I think they ought to be getting, not giving, the point spread. Edit: now giving 5.5.

Will we even be favored against the Commies?

Doubt it. They’ve looked way better in the playoffs. Even if favored they should only be favored by one or two.

So this will be our 9th NFCCG. 1980, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2017, 2022 and now 2024.

If the Eagles win they'll go 5-4 in those by my count. Above .500 which is the right direction to go in.

Even with Hurts status up in the air? Wow.

2017 against Atlanta was just the same kind of nail biter. Julio in the corner of the End Zone. Incomplete!!!!!

Phew.

Until he proves me otherwise, I believe this team has a QB problem. The offensive coordinator is calling awful plays. Our QB goes through stretches of not being able to complete a pass or get a first down. Penalties and missed extra point a f'n safety and they overcame all of that to win. Incredible.

1980 was my first NFCCG. 2022 was my last. A great run.
