And won the game sort of a big deal

No debate on the win or loss. Just looking at the overall stats Stafford had a far better game.

May need to consider resigning Gainwell. He’s a solid backup.

I did not forget about those. I’m not looking to fight here, man. I just don’t think Hurts played as well as he could/should. He needs to be more decisive next week and get more O line support.

There was a blizzard.

He didn't do anything.  He sucked

No, things never happen the exact same way. I want a 50 burger. 50 - 3

Thank god for Saquan. If not for him they wouldn’t have won even 8 games this year.

The safety was more on the line.

He was better?   He took a Safety and knocked us out of FG range twice. He was arguably worse.

He made big plays again though. Was he good? No. He was bad at times but he played his part in a win.

I think Jalen will be fine. The biggest concern is Q. Without Q. it's going to be hard to stop the Commanders. We need info on Q

No, nobody wants a loss. I think they'd rather have a QB who doesn't do dumb things like take a Safety he could avoid. Almost every week Hurts has several inexplicably dumb decisions. It's maddening to watch. Goes back to the game losing fumble in the SB. He's no elite QB. He's an average QB with plus athletic traits. Don't get me wrong, he can have a very good game here and there, but he almost single handedly lost this game today. He doesn't inspire confidence.

Stafford could've thrown the ball away on the sack by Carter that made it 4th and 11.

I dont deny that Hurts had a few bad sacks, but the haters will just look at Staffords yards and glaze him, while criticizing Hurts.  He also took that safety after the injury, and while I do blame him for not getting rid of it, what idiot thought it was a good idea to have him pass in that situation??

Nope. He had time to get rid of it.

No he had more yards. That does not equal better.

But Kenny freaking Pickett is the better pocket passer!

Yeah throw the ball up for grabs.

Well, with Saquon on the team we can't expect Hurts to throw it 40 times a game. I agree the play calling was suspect. Still, Hurts must be better than he was today if they want a real shot at winning it all.

throw it to MARS.

Agree with that, but our D is a big reason too.

The line told him not to throw the ball away? Just throw it out of bounds near a receiver.

How did he not have a better game? More passing yards check, more total yards check, more tds check, took less sacks, did not take a safety. Only thing Jalen has on him is the rushing ysrds. Without Saquan they don’t win today.

I am going to put some positivity out there.  They won and that is despite some really bad plays by people that dont usually make them.  Everything very correctable. If any of these are different its a blowout.

  1. Hurts took some really bad sacks instead of throwing the ball away.
  2. Kellen Moore with some bad "hold the ball with predictable/bad route distribution (you know the ones that every team now blankets).
  3. AJ with some key drops that would have made Hurts numbers look amazing.
  4. Uncharacteristic misses in pass blocking.
  5. Lane Johnson with the key false start to kill the TD and make it a FG.
  6. Mechi Becton with the illegal downfield on a screen to TE that would have been first and goal at the 3 instead sack out of FG range.

I am not counting Elliots extra point misses because well...hes been doing it all year but he made some good FGs today.

You sound like a broken record. Everyone played in the same elements tonight. I get it. We are on the same page that there was sleet and snow coming down throughout most of the game. Still doesn’t give Hurts a pass for his level of play.
