Stafford could've thrown the ball away on the sack by Carter that made it 4th and 11.

I dont deny that Hurts had a few bad sacks, but the haters will just look at Staffords yards and glaze him, while criticizing Hurts.  He also took that safety after the injury, and while I do blame him for not getting rid of it, what idiot thought it was a good idea to have him pass in that situation??

I put that on Moore. He shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. He had a free rusher in his face and didn't have the footing/strength in his leg to step around him. That was a no brainer run it on second down to get yourself some more space

May need to consider resigning Gainwell. He’s a solid backup.

Except those numbers on this team will result in blowout wins with how our D plays...

That’s not how it works. You can’t just transfer his stats like that. Many yards came when eagles were in stupid prevent

Nope. He had time to get rid of it.

He did. But let's be honest, the safety wasn't even the reason why it was so close. Jake missing 2 pats, and the defense playing prevent almost cost them.

Agree with that, but our D is a big reason too.

True. Just hate the bs safe d. I don’t get why they do that to us when they get up two scores.

dude...the prevent defense was pissing me off. I don't give a crap if statistically it works more. EVERY time I watch it in effect, it always almost lets other teams back into the game.

What about Rodgers?  Bad things happen when Maddox is out there.

When in the pocket you can not just toss the ball away. Putting it up like that in a blizzard is not a good idea

But Kenny freaking Pickett is the better pocket passer!

I don’t agree that Pickett is better in the pocket; at least not consistently. Hurts will always give us our best chance to win, but he seems slow to make decisions at times and it costs us. I don’t know it’s the play calling or the D scheme, but he seems slow when he has to make more than two reads.

His thing didn’t look bad. Ringo went in over him. That tells you something.

I'm not sure Pickett is really better either.  I think McKee is probably the best pre snap read qb.  but he lacks mobility and experience

It's time to move on from Jake. He fall off a cliff this season.

He did an interview post game, on the field, maybe was just a cramp.

So many things went wrong that game:

- 2 missed extra points

- AJ Brown drop at the goal line

- Playcalling. Specifically, calling pass plays on the safety and in 4th Q when Hurts got sacked. Not running tush push on 2nd down at the goal line.

- dropped or missed Interception opportunities

He was back in the game and interviewed on the field after the game.  He is fine.

The line told him not to throw the ball away? Just throw it out of bounds near a receiver.

Yeah just throw it out of bounds near a receiver, sounds so easy, A damn blizzard with dline down your neck sounds so easy, nothing bad could happen there

No he actually didn’t

Sorry, comtrade, but he SUCKS. Instead of his showboat runs he should be letting Barkley and Gainwell do what they were hired for. Nothing more frustrating than seeing him fake a hand-off to one of those two, then run nowhere for no gain. On the rare occasion the defense gives him a wide open gap he makes a successful run. More often he just dances around like a cinderblock with ricketts while the d-backs swarm in like sharks.

And his brain processes the field as fast as a snail on crutches. On that bad pass to a double-covered AJ in the end zone he had a wide open receiver all alone in the middle of the end zone. He holds the ball longer than any QB in history, then pulls it down and runs into a wall. Not the sharpest tack in the box.

Can't wait to see how he stacks up to the rookie QB next week.

I don't understand him.  He hits FGs in the swirling wind and snow (one as long as 44 yards) but can't hit XPs, what even is that?

i agree a lot went into this near self destruction. Still, the franchise QB should not be making decisions that hurt the team. He could've sailed that ball over the head of a receiver and out of bounds. They'll never call that grounding in the endzone when a pass sails like that, especially in those conditions.  It should've been a run play to  begin with, but when put in that position Hurts made a dumb, dumb decision to take the Safety.

He has really good games too, but at times I think I begin to understand why he was benched in the college championship game. It wasn't because TUA was so much better, it was because Hurts inexplicably poops his pants from time to time like he did today. Saquon and the Defense carried the day.

The oline is not that great at pass blocking

All true. Take the rest of today to relax and enjoy the win though. We have all of next week for the anxiety.
