Smoke was pretty good but, not sure why, it just felt like it was one or two episodes too long. And it was one of those series where even the good guys were so bad that you had a tough time not rooting for the antagonist in the end. I'm not saying it was bad, it wasn't, much of it was very good, but some of it just got too ridiculous, like the ex-cop, former partner,

F1 is exactly what you think it is, a movie to crank up your home theater that will thrill the whole family and be forgotten 30 minutes later.

Slow Horses - I can’t help it, I just love this show. Oldman’s great in it. They hit their stride sometime last season and now they’re on cruise control.

I haven’t heard one thing about this show until you just posted this. 😂 Your review and the fact the Apple TV pumps out some of the best shows ever has me sold.

We really like it too, especially Oldman's performance.

started a 2 month discount around Black Friday so that I could watch Pluribus. In addition to that, I have watched in entirety:

Shrinking

Dope Theif

Stick

Presumed Innocent

Hijack

Your Friends & Neighbors

The Gorge (movie)

Bad Sisters and Slow Horses next

I watched and completed The Studio in two days. A single season of 25-30min episodes was appealing. Slow Horses I have been avoiding because its like 5 seasons and I think lengthy episodes, so I have been narrowing in on these shorter accomplishments.

However, I have a TCL Roku in my "office" where I am living and in 6ish years of owning this TV I don't think I ever logged into Apple TV with it. When doing so, a "Roku promotion" was offering like 3 or 4 months free... just not applicable with my existing account. So I think when I cancel my 2-mo $2.99 promo I will signup with a new email address and use that to watch Gary Olds and the upcoming continuing-season launches that will be taking place late winter into spring.

I'd add Foundation if you haven't watched it yet

have not done that either.

Re: The Studio -- while I guess I enjoyed it and like the premise and many of the main and guest actors... it was so awkwardly uncomfortable watching Rogan's character F up and seeing his insecurities spiral over and over again. I don't think that type of person his character portrays could ever get remotely close to the career position he's in or access to that level of decision making and movers-and-shakers in the industry

Also Chief of War looks great. You may or may not like the story. I honestly found parts boring or just uninterested. The action definitely delivered though. Very brutal

Platonic is another good one with short eps. Season 2 is really funny

They’ve been demanding all along that they were only doing 3 seasons, but I’m happy to hear this. Easily one of our favorite shows.

I liked new shrinking episode. Derek #1 is still awesome

Watching monarch and got jump scared by reading, pa popping up on my screen...

Margo's got Money Troubles - It's basically a breakout performance by Ellie Fannings b00bs. They appear in most scenes and, surprisingly, have gotten better as the show's gone on. It's kind of funny at times too.

Second this opinion. It's definitely the most boobs i've seen by one person in one show and it's only 3 episodes so far.

Widow’s Bay - This show is a gem. Kitschy, funny, at times scary, can’t wait for the next episode.

Criminal Record - Glad this season is over. Season 1 was pretty good but season 2 not so much.

Star City - If you've enjoyed For All Mankind at all, this spinoff is fantastic. Maybe even better than For All Mankind, although I've only watched the 1st couple of episodes so far.

So good. I’m just afraid it’s not getting enough love, love that it totally deserves, for them to make more beyond this season. Add it to your watch list.

It really is a gem. It's creepy scary when it wants to be and funny when it wants to be, oftentimes within seconds of each other. Very, very few horror comedies have struck the balance they have going.
