According to Grok, the extension frees up approx. $3.3 - $3.4 million of cap space for the team in 2025.

Well deserved 👍

Great Job by Howie. Getting it done.

How does this line him up against other centers in AAV?

Hope his back stays right. Id assume if they thought it was an issue they would not have extended him

Was wondering this too, and that's what I'd assume as well. Has anyone seen any update about his back issue?

And Dickerson's knee...last I heard with him was that they were gonna open his knee up and see what they find. Then nothing since then....unsure

Yup, as good as Dickerson is and has been I think his knee is always going to be an issue, guess the question is how much of an issue, and like you said, mums the word so far, with both.🤷‍♂️

Great news. He has been an upgrade over Kelce.

Humphrey was 4 yrs 72m, so he is about $1m/yr below that (but may have more guaranteed - haven’t seen that info yet).

Drew Dalman signed 3yrs / $42m.

So I believe he is #2. Ragnow will be up at the end of the year and will probably come in higher as market keeps climbing.

We now have 4/5 of the best OL in the league locked up for the next 3 years (minimal):

Mailata - 2028

DIckerson - 2028

Jurgens - 2029

Johnson - 2027

Nice job again by Howie.

Sounds like Jurgens guaranteed money is well below Creed. Creed got $50.3m on a 4 year extension vs Jurgens $39.4m

For some players, it is important to them to be recognized as the highest paid at their position when signing their new contract. For others, finding a number they are comfortable with is enough. You don't need to be the highest paid to be set for life. F that first group of players.

Based on?

The fact that he don't have the constant Kelce penalties anymore. The fact that we just had the best rushing season in team history. The fact that we just won the Super Bowl and didnt uabe to deal with costly Kelce mistakes like in the 2022 Super Bowl. Kelce was great, a hall of fame player but it was overrratws by the end and Jurgens has been an upgrade.

@RememberTheKoy , I don't want to bash your reputation as a talent evaluator. But I will remind you that earlier this month you recommended that we convert Johnny Wilson to an O-Lineman.

He's no WR. If he was able to focus over the next two years putting on weight and training under Stoutland then he could be a mich better OT than he will ever be a WR.

The prosecution rests.

I resemble that remark!

Somebody forgot that there was a change at Right Guard in 2024. Gillette was taken over by P&G

The defense would like to call up Random Reglar as an expert witness and presents the following as evidence:

So, it's just a matter of packing on 70 extra pounds the right way?

Yeah I think he could do that if focused over the next two years.

I admire your commitment to a bit.
