I think the majority would, but it would depend on the source to fund it. Just like their attempts to block mail in voting, Republicans always claim it's to prevent fraud but lack the evidence to actually prove it would be worth the cost to implement. Regardless, it is and should remain a state level decision, anyway, and a lot of states already ask for ID. Mine included.

Wow. Now that's a deep cut as far as references go. We had that on tape, I must've watched that movie like 20 times as a kid and I believed all of it, because I was stupid and my uncle (who taped it) was a conspiratard nutjob. In a shocking turn of events, he eventually became a hardcore trumpbot when he won the nomination.
