I work in the energy business (renewables) and can tell you all what Bill stated above is 100% accurate. $50/barrel oil will bring drilling for new wells to near full stop. This has been going on for decades now. Cheap oil means zero US exploration and new wells.

So what you're saying is that this is clearly 5D chess by Trump to get the US to invest in more renewables.

Also, Venezuelan oil wouldn't be profitable to drill and produce at $50, but wha

so, he doesn't actually care about the thousands of birds that get killed by each windmill every year?

I so wish.......but no LOL

I will say though, cheap oil and gas is NOT in the best interest of the Trump admin. So for all those thinking he in the long run will work to keep gas and oil low, you are wrong. Big oil doesn't make a lot of money when these commodities are cheap.

Oh clearly, he wants wants it sticker shock low at the midterms and the world can burn after that. He'll also bomb Iran, Nigeria or any other OPEC nation who tries to trip the plan up.

I dunno, at least that's the only explanation I can come up with that both makes sense and tracks with Trump's simpleton global designs.

IIRC if the per barrel price gets that low it makes US production unprofitable.

For shale and offshore, yeah.

That's pretty crazy considering her job position of DNI

So, you're both sort of right. At $50 per barrel, shale production basically becomes unprofitable and all exploration and new drilling activity stops. We do have some production at costs that still work at $50, but shale really doesn't, and certainly it stops any development of new wells. The thing with shale is you have to ALWAYS be drilling new wells to maintain production, because shale wells run dry quickly. So if oil went to $50, you'd see oil production drop as old wells complete and new ones aren't drilled. There's no reason to stop a producing well -- you'll just run it dry and not drill new ones.

Beat me to it

I guess some of the cult haven't got the new programming that it is in fact for the resources and not to help the people

It will be at least a decade before we benefit from this and even then we might have gas 3 cents a gallon cheaper.

Still has to come before senate for official vote. Hopefully they keep their backbone.

It's only a resolution. The war powers Bill is the one that has any teeth.

When you have to keep your illegal war plans a secret from your National Intelligence Director because she's a communist sympathizer....

I thought it had to be upwards of $70 for shale to make sense?

Or maybe that's the threshold after prices bottom out where ramping up shale makes sense?

That is the average break even price.

The latest theory I've heard.

There was no military operation. It was a show. Maduro's people handed him over.

They really don't want to be seen as that inept.

Who told you that? The guy on the other side of the bathroom sink? That’s you , Lynched. I get why you wouldn’t want to accept that but it’s true.

Got tagged in? Alright, let's do it sprout.

It was a video I was watching. It was in english but the accent was quite heavy.

So by your assertion there was no warring on Trump's part now?

Oh you were doing your own research? We’ll nevermind then. Seems legit.

Do the definition.

You checked the spelling didn't you? 🤣
