Posted Monday at 03:23 PM4 days Is it too early to start talking about the draft? The last few years, Eagles have loaded up on defense. This year, looks like OL - especially RT - and TE are areas of need. We also could sustain losses on the DL. Will be hard to keep both Davis and Carter, and Phillips is basically a half season loaner. If he keeps playing lights out like this, Eagles won't be able to afford him.
Monday at 03:28 PM4 days I don't usually start thinking about the draft until I know our season is over. But yeah, it should be an interesting offseason once again in regards to who we can keep or get. We absolutely have to find a legit successor to Lane Johnson and it's starting to seem like AJ Brown will be shipped out which means we'll also need another WR. Lots of tough decisions looming this offseason.
Monday at 04:16 PM4 days I can't argue against those positions on the list of our top needs, but Howie and the FO has made a concerted effort to focus much more on best player and so much on need. I don't know how this upcoming crop of OTs are and who is going to be available when we pick. So hard to target a specific position without ending up with another Dillard or Reagor.

Jon Runyan was signed as a free agent and he had a nice run with the Eagles.

Although with this team, you never know with Stout. For all we know, one of our late picks from 2025 might jump leaps and bounds next season.

Monday at 05:06 PM4 days The draft will be so so crucial in keeping this going. We are going to have to start paying the D start this offseason with Dean and potentially Phillips. If we can address the upcoming needs on the offense they should be able to keep most of the D in tact. This offseason will lay the ground work for the future of this team.

Monday at 05:45 PM4 days @Procus @time2rock @scottr@pictips.com @Mike030270 Guys - I love the draft. The mock draft page on this board has been dead. Please share your thoughts there. I love reading about everyone's ideas and thoughts. By the way, my surprise 1st round pick is Demetrius Crownover 6'6" 330 from Texas A&M

Monday at 08:51 PM4 days Needs: RT, CB2, TE, O line depth, corner depth, safety depth, WR to develop, and the rest depends on who leaves in free agency.

I could see Howie flipping one of his thirds to move up. But OL in the first round - Eagles have hit when the pick is top ten and Rich Kotite isn't making the selection. But they have their share of busts later in the first round. The team may be a victim of it's own success when it comes to a shot of drafting a cornerstone offensive lineman.
Monday at 11:53 PM4 days I looked at the list of free agents and it doesn’t look good at Rt most players are over 30 and average at best.. the only one I really saw would be if stout wanted to take on another major project with Evan Neal who is only 26.Looking at rt in the draft for first rounders I like GENNINGS DUNKER OT IOWA if we would be able to get him.I would think they try and keep big Fred.

Throw McWilliams in there too (although don’t really know what we have with him yet).Do have to wonder if either Carter or McWilliams can be functional outside CBs.

I'm greedy, I want more young corners, and concerned about injuries.

How are the guys they drafted this year? I have no idea.CB2 could be a mid free agent or 2nd or 3rd round pick. TE I don'tknow if Goedert walks and they trust a rookie, so is there a free agent? Otherwise they draft high a day 1 starter. The rest is BPA & depth.
Tuesday at 12:51 AM4 days OL TE and WR. Who was the last relevant #3 receiver the Eagles have had? Avant?

Williams, in particular, was considered a 1st round prospect if he came out in 2026.I would like to see Goedert, Phillips, Dean and Blankenship signed in the off-season. A starting CB2 would then be our only main concern. Perhaps Jaire would re-consider?
