Posted November 17Nov 17 I've always liked it when @Ray75 did frequent mocks with varying ideas. I figure twicw a month until the new year makes sense. Free agency - our ownResign Jaelin Phillips, Nakobe Dean, Reed Blankenship, Braden Mann, Fred JohnsonLet walk - Goedert, Calcaterra, Granson, Dotson, Dillon, Howell, Hughlett, Pryor, Uche, Okoronkwo, Ojulari, A Jackson, Castro-Fields. That we'll only get 1 comp pick for Goedert out of this group says alot about the fact we're not missing much. Free agent - signingsTE Kyle Pitts, Atlanta. Atlanda is on the verge of being the next dumster fire this season. Eagles will let 3 tight ends go in free agency and although Pitts hasn't lived up to his superstar predictions, but as a receiver he would help the Eagles. He'll be the only high priced acquisition. Edge Kingsley Enegbare. Losing Uche, Ojualri, and O leaves us with a need for a deep depth chart back upCB Tariq Woolen. He's fallen out of favor, but we can't count on ringo or a draft pick actually startingDraft - Trade #1 to someone who wants a 5th year for a QB for a 2 and a 3. That's probably late 40's and early 80's2 (traded pick) - OT Demetrious Crownover, Texas A&M 6'6" 330. Lane's eventual replacement, but next year he replicated Mekhi Beckton2 (own pick) - Edge Dani Dennis-Sutton, Penn State. He's fallen out of the 1st round but he'll berotating with Phillips, Smith, Hunt, BG, and Enegbare 3 (traded pick) - CB DJ McKinney, Colorado. 6'2" 190 4.473 (own pick) - TE Max Klare, Ohio State. 6'4" 240 4.8. Pitts catches, Klare blocks and catches, EJ Jenkins and Cameron Latu are the backups3 (comp pick) - WR Eric Singletyon Jr, Auburn 5'10" 190 4.42. A stretch the field guy. He's much better than his QB let's him show4 (own pick) - TE John Michael Gillenborg, Wyoming, 6'5"247 4.62. Wathc out EJ Jenkins4 (comp pick) - S Peyton bowen, Oklahoma. 6'0" 198 4.485 (own pick) - QB Carson Beck, Miami(FL). 6'4" 220 4.745 (comp pick) - Wr Nyck Harbor, South Carolina. 6'5" 235 4.48 A height-weignt-speen pick that challenges Johnny WilsonSummary - Goedert, Calcaterra, and Granson replaced by Pitts, Klare, and Gyllenborg/JenkinsDotson replaced by Singleton or CooperDillon already replaced by BigsbyHowell replaced by BeckHughlett already replaced by AdomotosPryor replaced by CrownoverOjulari, Uche, and O. I already replaced by Phillips, anothe by BG who will coe back again, and the 3rd replaced by Dennis-SuttotJackson & Castro-Fields replaced by McKinney/Ringo, Woolen.
November 18Nov 18 I'd retain Goedert...draft a mid-round prospect. I'm not in favor of Pitts in FA.Signing Phillips would lesson the need for an early edge pick or signing Kingsley.Corner and tackle could then be our primary targets.Howie can have fun with his day #3 picks (backups, developmental prospects, special teams, 1 year Pros).
Tuesday at 06:55 PM5 days Author Thanks @Crazy Legs . I think we can foll all the needs. Keeping goedert and not signing Pitts would be Ok. Need 5 edges on the roster - Phillips, Smith, Hunt, Enigbare, Dennis-Sutton, and BG make a terrific edge room. I have tackle (2nd) and corner (3rd) so I guess you're suggesting no trade of our #1 and drafting them in the 1st and 2nd. Ok - but I;d rather have that extra pick. We'll never get Crownover at 64 and 32 is too high which is why I went for the trade. Not as mant day 2 picks as we had before. Going by Jimmy Kemski's projection we'll have 2 in round 4 and 2 in round 5. Next mock - December 1

They then critque each other's opinions and reach a consensus Then the fun begins, trying to figure out how long they should last on the board and how high they must reach to attain their targets. Sometimes you're lucky (2024, Q, Cooper) and sometimes not (2020, Reager vs. Jefferson).P.S. I wouldn't count on BG next season.
20 hours ago20 hr I was on the trade for Pitts bandwagon this past offseason I haven’t fully followed him and still think his play is far behind his draft position but I think he is having a decent season. Definitely enjoy talking about the draft and offseason
