There's a certain strain of Republican establishment that has deluded themselves into believing that the Republican base isn't really that racist and they keep getting proven wrong. Republicans will bend on a lot of their core values, but not racism.

MECHANICSBURG: A political canvasser for Janelle Stelson’s campaign is facing charges after police found him half-naked in his SUV, in a residential area, on Sunday afternoon, according to court documents.

East Pennsboro Police charged Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, 25, of Aurora, CO with Indecent Exposure (M2); and a summary count of Disorderly Conduct, following the incident.

According to court records, police were dispatched to the area of Delwood Drive, near the Acri Road intersection in Mechanicsburg, shortly after 3 p.m. to check on an unknown male sitting in his vehicle for several hours.

When police made contact with the driver, Igbojekwe, he opened the door to speak with the officer, wearing only a shirt - with his genitals exposed. Igbojekwe told police he was in the area, waiting to hand out flyers for Janelle Stelson’s campaign, pointing to flyers he had in his silver Ford SUV.

But, Igbojekwe also told police he did not understand why it was an issue for him to have his genitals exposed while parked in a residential neighborhood.

Police noted that residents were in the area – a male walking his dog and children on their bicycle – during the time Igbojekwe was parked there in close proximity to a public park and next to a sidewalk.

Igbojekwe remains housed in Cumberland County Prison, unable to post the: $49,000 bail set by Magisterial District Judge Jonathan R. Birbeck at his arraignment on Monday.

Just saw an ad during the Eagles game encouraging me not to vote for James Talarico.

I promise that I definitely won't vote for James Talarico in the midterm election. Of course, that's mostly because I live in Pennsylvania, but whatever... Seems like a waste of campaign funds there.
