I'm seeing all sorts of stuff on this storm - predictions are all over the place.

True but at this juncture the models are coming into a better agreement, and that raises the probability which is why I posted that map. We are greater than 80% now so it is likely it's a snow storm on Sun into Mon.

My wife has a Co-worker (they work at a Middle School) who is a weather geek. Has been for like 15 years. Does forecasts for the School District that they work in. He's really accurate and knows his ish.

Anyways, he's thinking that we get a few inches here in DE and it will be a wet, heavy snow. No light and fluffy snowflakes.

Holy crap. It seems as if this storm is coming together. DE could get anywhere from 8-20 inches of snow. Holy moly.

Me after this next storm

Light snow here in DE. We're probably going to get 12-20 inches of snow. Yay. 🙄🤣

I'm in Delaware between Wilmington and Newark, and I think I got about 6 inches of snow. It basically stopped snowing at 10:00, until I went to bed at 12:30, and there wasn't much in the morning. It all depended on if you were where one of those bands of snow stalled.

It was all heavy and wet. Most of it is gone on my yard already!

Far cry from meeting the blizzard warning criteria that New Castle County was under. Even AC NJ didn't meet it. It was not an easy forecast for them as all along it showed a sharp gradient to the north and west of 95. I think I had about 8 inches and a lot of that has melted already.

Saturday looks glorious, but we have a couple more disturbances rolling thru this week. I must say I'm done and ready for warm weather. Just ordered more oil (thankfully the price has come down 0.30) My electric bill is over $200 which it's never been that high in the 40+ years I've been here. Rent for the bay cottage is due the 28th. I'm just bleeding money and could use a break!!

We got 10 inches of snow in N Wilmington. Easy to shovel, thankfully. Some warmer temps are coming later this week, so hopefully we get most of it melted. My back yard will be a pond though. 🤣

You jinxed everyone by starting this thread three days before a big storm. You need to close it and wish everyone a happy spring.

HA HA. I did. BUT there's another storm that may hit us 3/2-3/3. I'll lock the thread after that or if it fizzles away beforehand. Way long range temps look awesome if they verify.

Atlantic City Electric is still operating in full storm mode (IE all hands on deck) and still have nearly 800 outages

I live in Delaware. Yesterday it was sunny and 78. I sat outside on my deck in a tee shirt and shorts. Today? It's like 48 degrees and there's a cold rain/light snow coming down. 🙃😜
