I think it’s going to be OT. The safer pick would be Miller. The pick with potentially the higher ceiling (but also lower floor) is Iheanachor. But I also think Howie is going to trade up, possibly for Freeling.

Freeling has been taken… in the top-10 apparently 😬

Would not surprise me. But if he somehow gets to the mid teens I think Howie makes his move. Just hope we don’t take Proctor. Something about him just screams bust.

There should be a trade down scenario. I would do that with those players available. And grab either Iheanachor or EMW if the trade down isn't too far.

I think’s that where he should go - he’s comparable in my mind to Broderick Jones - lot’s of talent, lot’s of work to do on his game.

No one’s biting, tick tick tick…

I want EMW.

Howie takes Iheanachor.

Out of those options:

Proctor, Iheanarchor, Sadiq, EMW, Tyson, Miller

I want no parts of Mesidor who has bust written all over him.

Yeah, Mesidor might provide some immediate help but I don’t like the ceiling - let someone else take him. I’m not sure where I’d be comfortable selecting him. I guess in some sort of tradeback to the top of 2nd type scenario depending on who else is available at that point.

His age in of itself isn't so much the issue for me. The fact that his production was much higher than it had been as a 24 year old senior is a major red flag to me. I'm not saying he doesn't have talent but a 24 year old is so much more physically mature than the average 18-21 year old so he should have been dominating. There is also nothing about his traits that suggest his game will translate to the NFL at a high level. His ceiling is probably high but I'm not drafting a good run defending DE who can pitch in 5-7 sacks in the first round. Quite honestly he is one my least favorite potential picks for the Eagles.

I got McNeil-Warren because the instructions were too choose wisely, not pick a project OT. Everyone else is wrong.

Thanks for playing!

Proctor is trouble. Inconsistent, his technique isn't all the way there, etc. Bad vibes about his work ethic- he thinks he can coast due to his physical gifts, but he will fail in the NFL, because EVERYONE has the physical gifts- it comes down to work ethic and technique. I'm taking Blake Miller there, if I don't trade up for another O lineman.

With that pronouncement the exercise might be over, but I'll see how it plays out - much more Proctor love then I figured.

Would love him but highly doubt we go S in rd 1. Then again we did break a lengthy trend of not taking a LB in rd 1 just last year so who knows.

Proctor

If we aren't an OZ offense and we need a guard yesterday, I'm much more inclined towards this pick.

I don't trust Dickerson staying healthy or playing beyond this year

Yeah, we definitely need a guard - what kind and when in the draft is where we differ.

OMG, How'd we attract so many NFL Scouts to our 'lil bulletin board? 🤣

Imo, OT has got to be the pick. I'm not sure I would love Max or Miller at 23. I think Proctor would be the BPA among the 3. Would love if Freeling fell

I wonder if the Freeling in the top-10 talk cools off a bit. He's very much of a project, but if he gets past 15... 👀

I'd settle for Proctor but I really, really hope Howie figures out how to get Freeling

DraftTek has him at 12 on their big board.

But obviously it only takes 1 team to fall in love with a player. Or a bunch of teams to love other guys more to push him down a tad.

If he gets to 16 it would likely take picks 23 and 68 to move up. Maybe the Jets would be willing to move down for more draft assets considering they have the 2nd overall pick.

Still seems like a steep price for a project, but he’s seem like the best combination of physical talent of that group.
