Right or wrong, I dismiss Faulk as run stopping 5T which seems to get overdrafted each year. The kid from UGA that went to the 9ers was the example from last year - I’m OK with that profile later in the draft as a role player, but in the 1st… not so much.

Howell, yes, the arms - he does very well despite them but this a clear disadvantage at the next level where seemingly every tackle has the reach and the potential to out punch him.

I just think they won't be able to get their hands on Howell.

His 10 yard split is insane. Hes just too quick.

Better than Nik Bonitto, that is impressive - that said he might have a hard time on early downs (but I guess we have Jalyx/Nolan to handle those neutral situations).

The more mocks and prospect rankings I browse , the more certain I become in us drafting Tj Parker or trading down -possibly even grabbing him in the 2nd. DE is a bigger need on paper than OL, next year is a stronger class for O line and if our offensive line has the need to start a rookie this year we’re probably cooked anyway. Strengthen the pass rush.

It will take a multi-year effort to revamp the OL. They need to start this year.

They will. But not in round 1 hopefully cause that would be the wrong move.

Tyson is getting some top-10 buzz, still time to get that pick in for those who haven’t voted.

Hmmmm.....so, who do want/like in round 1??

Or, does Howie trade that pick for a 2nd and a 3rd??

🤔🤔

Looks like safety, certain edges, or a certain CB will be my BPA. My preference will be for the safety.

And if Jordyn Tyson falls I guess the Eagles have to ask themselves if they're comfortable with his medicals because he is WR1 in this draft.

Hmmmmm I'd say a hard NO to WR in Round 1.

But what do I know. 🤓

If the OLineman you want is not there, then take the best S or Edge.

I have a feeling that Howie is going to dump the pick, trade down, and get another 2nd/3rd.

It would be nice if there was any interest in the BAMA quarterback, but otherwise I’m not sure who would be trading up and for what.

So, dump the 1st round pick and get an 2nd and maybe a 3rd? I think I'd do that.

The more I look at this draft class, the more I go.............meh.

If we were in a trade down situation and could find a partner, I’d be fine moving back plus a 2027 pick. Essentially, I think we’d be kicking the can again for Lane’s replacement and need the additional draft capital next year.

Yeah, good points, I agree.

I'll repeat myself, 😊. I just don't like this draft class. Get a few players out of it, and if possible, obtain some extra 2027 picks.

I like rounds 2-4, but early on there's a lot of compromised prospects - later on my gut tells me the diamonds will get pushed up so the pickings might be slim.

Trade back to collect as many 2027 picks as possible since we will need a top QB prospect and need ammo to move up

Trade down.

Also, what other DE are on the board? Is Denzel Boston available?

I’m assuming no AJ Brown or DE trades.

Unless someone like Caleb Downs falls the guys at 23 aren’t much different from mid-3rd rounders.

Not that these OT prospects are great, but you’ll have a hard time finding guys with this level of athleticism and length beyond the 1st round. Boom (as in you get a decent starter) bust dynamic unfortunately.

It's going to be a weird/wonky draft, IMO.

Either Howie goes WAY up to get a top 12 player, OR, he trades out of our 1st pick, grabs an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick, AND hopefully gets an extra 2027 pick or two.

I'll say it for the last time...🤓.....this draft class is meh, blah, yuck. It will be tough to find 2 potential starters from it.

You’re right. That’s a good point. Unless you really want to reach for Crownover this OT class gets weak quickly. DE, DT, S, TE seem interesting into the beginning of 4th round, though.

OT or trade down

Do you have an OT that you want?

Miller looks to be the safest choice and ready now to play

This draft blows. Can we add an option to trade down into the mid to late 2nd round and get a 2027 first round pick?

No easy button unfortunately.
