Damnit

Coming off shoulder surgery and sliding right into pec injury. Howie shopped at Scratch-n-Dent apparently. Ugh.

But they said it's not serious and "nothing to worry about" and that he'll be ready by start of season. That said, I just hope it isn't serious enough that he ends up tearing it a few games into the season.

What the fudge ?? !!! ☹️

Yay.

Welp, injuries in late July are better than injuries late in the season.

😬

Yes. But I think we see him playing sooner than later.

Preseason PUP is not the same as regular season PUP.

It may be good news that he’s going to be ready to start the season. But he’s missing valuable reps in a new defense. And he’s coming in already with questions over whether he can stay healthy and produce at a high level. This isn’t a disaster but it isn’t a great start either.

Pec strains typically take a couple weeks of rest to get back to normal. This isn't a big deal and should give some of the other guys more quality reps. If I had to wager, I'd bet he'll be back practicing sooner than people are thinking.

^^^^^^

Damn. Was looking forward to see him in some practice action. Or even a few pre-season game reps.

He can miss the first 2 games. Those are W's

Washington week one? With a new offensive scheme and one of our key WRs being a rookie who may need time? I’m not saying we don’t win but that’s a tough game.

It's not like we don't have other players out there. You're acting like we'd only have 10 guys out there on defense.

Personally, I think Greenard will be a FP at practice before the season begins. He's unlikely to play in preseason games regardless based on what we know about how the Eagles approach preseason games. But even if he isn't "ready" to play in the opener, we still have Smith and Hunt who probably will technically be the "starters" every week anyway.

It might not be the worst thing in the world for Greenard to be limited early. Smith and Hunt are playing this year for their lives. I’d be surprised if one doesn’t have a really good season.

LOL I’m a realist. I’m not trusting this team until like week 7. 🙃

We have started every season with siri as the best team in the league through the first 10 games record wise so not the best thing to go by

Crazy part is the defense has been dominating without him to this point. Of course the offense has been missing, Lane, Smitty, and Lemon too so that is a factor while they’re trying to learn a new offense.

Nothing good comes outta Minnesota......
