August 25Aug 25 Author In addition to releasing S JT Gray, they've also waived RB Ja'Quinden Jackson. He was waived with an injury designation so he'll likely go the same route as Johnny Wilson and end up on the team's IR after clearing waivers. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/eagles-release-s-j-t-gray-waive-rb-jaquinden-jackson
August 29Aug 29 No way Mac Mcwilliams should make the roster. Wouldn't be surprised if Howie added a CB this weekend or on a claim on Monday
August 29Aug 29 Eagles first two picks will make the roster after showing little to nothing up to this point.

August 30Aug 30 Author Per Zangaro:DB Jaylen Mahoney: The Eagles just added Mahoney on Aug. 24, so he didn’t get much time to impress the Eagles. But he did practice and play seven defensive snaps in the final preseason game. (Andrew DiCecco)TE Stone Smartt: The former Jets tight end was buried all summer on the depth chart. He had some good moments but seemed like a longshot. (Cayden Steele)CB Shaun Wade: The former UFL cornerback forced a bunch of fumbles during the preseason but struggled in coverage. (Andrew DiCecco)OL Myles Hinton: The Eagles used a sixth-round pick on Hinton out of Michigan in the 2025 draft. After playing tackle in his rookie year, the Eagles tried Hinton at guard this spring and early in training camp. Eventually, he was back at tackle with the third-team offense and had some struggles. (Adam Schefter)CB Ambry Thomas: The former third-round pick of the 49ers was buried on the depth chart and had a rough preseason with the Eagles in 2026. (Adam Schefter)DT Gabe Hall: Last summer, Hall made the Eagles' initial 53-man roster after a really great training camp. This summer was quieter for Hall. He was buried behind plenty of really talented players at the defensive tackle position. (Ryan Fowler)OG Michael Jordan: The Eagles had the veteran running with the second and third teams all training camp, but he was clearly behind players like Drew Kendall and Willie Lampkin. Jordan has 49 career starts but did not distinguish himself with the Eagles. (Cayden Steele)DT Zion Wilson: The Eagles signed Wilson after the NCAA denied his waiver to play a sixth college season. Wilson began his college career as an offensive lineman before switching to defense in 2024. Wilson had some strong moments in training camp and in the preseason. (Ryan Fowler)S Cole Wisniewski: The seventh-round pick from Texas Tech missed a ton of time in training camp with a hamstring injury and then a concussion. Had he returned from that hamstring injury and put together a strong final week, perhaps he could have made the team. If he clears waivers, Wisniewski would be a logical practice squad player at a position where the Eagles aren't very deep. (Cayden Steele)S Maximus Pulley: The UDFA from Wofford had a solid training camp but wasn't able to make the final roster. He could be a practice squad candidate. (Ryan Fowler)RB Carson Steele: There wasn't much more Steele could have done in the preseason. He made some great plays, especially out of the backfield as a receiver. Steele can play running back, fullback and special teams. He could be a strong practcie squad candidate. (Ryan Fowler)WR Quez Watkins: At one point, Watkins was an important player for the Eagles but the former sixth-round pick was a longshot to make this year's roster. He still has speed and maybe he'll be back on the practice squad like he was last season. (Ryan Novozinsky)OLB Tarron Jackson: The Eagles drafted Jackson in the sixth-round way back in 2021 but he hasn't played in a game for them since 2022. He was brought back this summer on Aug. 10, but was a roster longshot. (Cayden Steele)RB Jordan Mims: The Eagles just added Mims on Aug. 24, so it's not a surprise to hear he's getting cut. (Cayden Steele)WR Samori Toure: The veteran receiver didn’t stand out much during training camp or in the preseason games and is reportedly being waived. He was a roster longshot all summer in a crowded receiver room. Toure was a seventh-round pick of the Packers in 2022 and overlapped with Sean Mannion for one training camp. August 30Aug 30 Dolphins just waived Gronowski. Willis is only QB on roster. Gotta think a call to Howie has been made
August 30Aug 30 TIL Tarron Jackson was with the Eagles again. I don't think I heard his name once this summer. 1 hour ago, erformc said:Dolphins just waived Gronowski. Willis is only QB on roster.
