September 14Sep 14 Author This move makes perfect sense. He obviously is unable to play to the level expected. Need to play whoever is going to be the best option (whoever is physically capable for starters) regardless of contract status. If that means sitting Dickerson and playing Kendall or someone else then so be it.
September 14Sep 14 Awesome player when healthy. Helped us win a chamlionship.Maybe it's time to call it a day big guy.
September 14Sep 14 Would they plug Bell in there? Dude is a mountain and even though it was pre season, he looked great.
September 14Sep 14 It's sad because he's still extremely young, but if he can't be/stay healthy anymore it's time to make the call and do a favor to his body too.He played at high level, made the money and won a chip; can't complain that much.
September 15Sep 15 They did the right thing FOR THE TEAM and FOR him. He isn't right, and he wasn't right last year. Sadly, I believe his career is OVER. His knee's can't take anymore. Jurgens better start balling-heis next.
September 15Sep 15 I feel for Dickerson. I admire him being a true professional. He realized he was hurting the team and that bothers him.

September 15Sep 15 We knew we needed to add another OG. We could have gotten a really good one in the 2nd round this past April
September 15Sep 15 it takes a lot to recognize you're a liability to the team, take yourself out, and potentially know you're not getting your job back.
September 15Sep 15 Now, folks can slow their bench him roll. He took accountability for his play. He's injured. Next man up.
September 15Sep 15 Inquirer's Jeff McClane's article picked up nationally where he is quoted that either Kendall or Lampkin will take over at LG...unless, as sources have told him, " Also depends on if there is a change at center and how the Eagles best see the O line configeration." That clearly states that Eagle sources want it out there that they are also considering benching Jurgens and putting both those guys in.

September 15Sep 15 Now if Jurgens can also be placed on IR, let Lamkin take over at center, the Oline would be in much better shape. I would bring in Becton also as insurance...

Him and Jurgensnearly lost a game for the team. THAT is not recognizing anything. The Eagles said "that's enough" after last year and now this- HE didn't willingly do anything- except nearly cost the Eagles another game.
September 15Sep 15 It was obvious he want moving well and now knowing he was hurt weeks prior just infuriates me. Don’t be that selfish a hole that knows you shouldn’t be out there and playing anyway and gets Jalen hurt. And why was it even his call at that point? Coaches needed to step in there and do something.
September 15Sep 15 I think sadly this might be it for Landon. He had a whole offseason to rest up and get ready. And he clearly wasn’t healthy week one. I think they’ll try to bring him back but I’m just not sure his body can hold up anymore. He came in to the league with health concerns and it’s why we got him in the second round. Sadly I think he is just falling apart physically and there’s no cure for that. The question now becomes who is up next? Is it Kendall? Could Bell play there? Size wise he is of that Landon mould (in fact he’s bigger).

September 15Sep 15 Dickerson said he had his knee rolled up on a few weeks ago and finally had imaging done. Seems strange he didn't have imaging done sooner. He also said he has no plans to retire or else he wouldn't have spent 7 figures to get that treatment done in the offseason. So, we haven't seen the last of him. I just hope he gets right. Great player when healthy.
September 15Sep 15 It's sad when a great player's career is cut short by injuries.......I think Dickerson should retire......or he's going to have trouble walking when he gets older. He needs to retire, lose weight and strengthen his legs......he should be looking at quality of life down the road.
