He beat the GOAT and one of the best coaches of all time with a backup QB. That's some mighty fine lightning.

It was

Did Pryor tell Doug to go F himself or something. How does he go from the projected starting RG, to the projected starting LT, to being behind Driscoll, Herbig, and the rugby player on the depth chart.

Maybe Doug just doesn’t want to throw a guy under the bus publicly, who was making his first career?

Get out of here with that nonsense, I wouldn't expect any NFL coach anywhere to say Herbig played like a dope, but there's a whole spectrum of opinion between throwing a guy under a bus and saying he did well,  say he was thrown in at the deep end and he's a work in progress, the whole line had issues on Sunday and it was clear we need to work on a lot of things, all of that is true, none of it throws Herbig to the wolves but is waaaay short of saying he did well.

Total lighthing in a bottle

an Improbable series of events.

It happens occasionally, thank god it was the Eagles.

The season? He won’t last through this next game if he doesn’t learn to get rid of the damn ball.

If the Rams take out Wentz for the second time in his career, Goff had better be carried off the field.

The Eagles do not hit quarterbacks. They only pressure them. It’s far more effective I hear.

Gym Shortz D is sackless.

And turnoverless too. Now there's a shock.

This is incorrect. Sweat had a strip sack, and for the game the Eagles had a total of 2/3. Still not enough.

What changed in the offense? What did Doug and all these new minds come up with over the summer, only to come out and run the same plays with no creativity or options?

I see you missed the double entendre of my post.

They had no running game and no right side of the OL. Not sure how creativity would help.

And speaking of the running game, if Sanders is their only legitimate option they have problems.  Because he will miss games.

Well guess what... They have problems. Scott is not a proven #2 and Clement isn't good.

Maybe Duce can dress and load up on pickle juice.

Exactly. Devonta Freeman is the only serviceable veteran RB still on the market.  Not sure where they turn from here.

They need depth. Which means picking the right players in those later rounds that can actually develop in to decent players. Good solid and cheap depth.

And then they need to hit on the early picks. And not freaking waste them like they did this year.

I think they should be drafting an interior lineman early, like 2nd or 3rd round early. How long is Kelce going to play? He's already talked about retirement. Draft a swing guy who can play G and C and then have him replace Kelce when he retires. They also need a guy who can play swing tackle and that's hard to find that in the 7th round. Think 3rd, 4th or 5th rounds. You need 7 competent lineman. Instead, we waste a 2nd rounder on a gimmick QB.

We can’t call a guy who didn’t even dress a gimmick QB. He’s closer to a waste of a roster spot. Ironically even though he didn’t play he still doesn’t seem to be as much of a waste as JJAW.

I do think Howie may have redeemed himself a bit with this year’s draft. Remains to be seen of course but I’m pretty optimistic about Reagor, Hightower and even Wallace.

I have no Idea how this years draft will turn out, but if you judge Howie's entire picking career cumulatively...His head on the stick should be placed right next to the stadium. I was previously a big Howie supporter. No more! I want him gone..or demoted to accounting.

Absolutely. He should be nowhere near the draft. The reason we look like we are headed to a bad spot is because Howie can't draft. He can't draft so he's had to extend older players and keep turning to FA.

Again, this goes to game management and being able to make in-game adjustments. Doug never did that, nor did the new coaches help with that. Having no right side of the line hurt tremendously. But, there were some things that could have been done to assuage the lack of experience and overwhelming rush to that side.

gonna have to agree with the Don here. unimaginative game planning, no in game adjustments, WTF??  Really starting to think Frank Reich and flip had a lot to do with the success of the eagles in 2017.

OMG I'm a NEWBIE WITH ONE POST! !!!!!  LOL  WHAT HAS MY LIFE COME TO??

Could be wrong, but I think he has an injury that is the reason he’s still not on a team.
