We have no HC, no OC and no DC. We are 2 years out at a minimum of being a contender again

they'll be a playoff contender next season. the big change wont come till 2028.

It cannot be called a Defense. I dunno what to call it, but its not a defense.

Fangio needs to get out of the booth. There are no leaders on the defense and he needs to be on the sideline to light a fire.

Aside from Mitchell, there's nobody on the defense I wouldn't trade at this point. Might want to sell on DeJean before his value drops even more (I never thought I'd say that, but he's becoming the next Michael Lewis --- peaked early and then regressed steadily). There are a lot of good players that have value, but have zero leadership qualities. Might as well shed some contracts or potential contracts.

How did that work out for ya?

I wanna say Mannion did well today, but how much is that bc of the Dallas D? Then I think... backup QB, Rookie as WR1, practice squad remaining WRs, and RB 3/4 in the game.

Fangio really disappointed me, especially after seeing what GB and TB did to disrupt the Dallas O.

There’s a cold beer somewhere in southwest Florida calling your name. Just retire already. Let Clint take it from here.

It’s almost like the offense Jalen was running was on the sidelines watching the D get crushed for most of the game and that’s why they couldn’t score points.

The defense is playing at the level that gets a coach fired. Do the players even care? I sure can't tell.

Excuse before was all the 3 and outs and O couldn't move the ball and stay on the field

I expect more of the same moving forward. the poor effort is the result of a terrible attitude and attitude reflects leadership. the team's leadership is failing in spectacular fashion. I hope Howie gets a boatload of meanningful extra draft picks over the next few drafts. He's going to need them.

Didn’t watch the game because I’m in another country this week and wasn’t staying awake but was it as bad as it looks?

Offense showed up at least in the first half. Defense was terrible from start to finish

All season the defense has looked to be putting in a stout effort before collapsing down the stretch due to too much time on the field, last night they just sucked and then when they showed the last 5 games numbers that effort didn't look so good.

Letting Dean walk looks like a worse decision by the week, the guy was a tone setter, and when he was out we had guys like Brandon Graham to keep a fire under their arse, and as dumb as it sounds we had guys like Blankenship, who aren't spectacular highlight reel players, but who do their job in the scheme week in week out at a consistent level, guys you don't need to worry about, they're just there doing their job, defense could use a couple of those too.

I think the roster has the talent defensively, but it badly needs leaders and by the time other teams may be willing to trade someone like that, we'll be out of contention even in a division as bad as the NFC East anyway.

The offense at least looked halfway competent last night, but it turns out that may not have been the biggest problem we had after all

This is what a team that has quit looks like. I know because I've seen Sirriani lose a team before already.

Defense had NO dog in them.

So it was a dak vs mckee with B team shootout.

You see the score.

Yeah yeah "complimentary football” well that works both ways. The defense has to GTFOff the field too.

Yes it was THAT bad...I had to turn it off and turn on Bob's Burgers because I wanted to laugh and not get angry watching this absolutely HORRIBLE defense.....GB and TB made Dallas look like an awful team and we made them look like allstars headed to the superbowl.....it was ridiculous and I felt so sorry for the fans that were there.....

He does but hes been OK all things considered.

If the D could actually play ball perhaps mckee could build on his game here

Not really, he was pretty bad overall, but it was kind of what you expect from a backup. McKee had a number of opportunities to hit open receivers to extend drives but he was way off. I'm not going to crucify him but I'm not going to say he was OK either.

agreed, the defense was awful, and if they had shown up, McKee's play would've been enough for the team to win.

Yep. I was in Chicago for business and at the hotel bar. People were laughing at the Eagles while the Brewers were clobbering the Rays.

Man, the defense is inexplicably bad right now. No pass rush, Carter and Davis just seem to disappear for entire games, Greenard might be dinged up still but he certainly has not looked worth the investment, Hunt is dinged up but hasn't built on his progress from last year, Campbell looks more like a bust every week, DeJean has taken a step back, Mukuba just looks "meh" and do we even have a 2nd safety on the field at all?

Not much we can do via changes, but I'd start with moving DeJean FT to safety...just convert him...he's not gonna survive being a CB. He is being targeted by opposing offenses these days and last year any time he was on the outside at CB he was immediately targeted. He needs to be a Safety and I'd think he'd actually be a very good one. Bench Campbell and let's see what Trot Jr can do in a FT role. Anything else?

The D quit on the season, gave up like a bunch of P. U. S. S. I. E. S. The offense? They at least

gave an effort and TRIED. One think I can't tolerate is million dollar babies giving up and NOT EARNING

THAT $$$ ALL YEAR. Some heads have to roll. Somebody, or two or three somebodies need to be fired to

send a message: Any quitters are off of this team. Howie and Lurie are doing what they do best lately- HIDING.

The whole thing going on within this org is totally unacceptable.

Horrible outing. However, it was nice to see Lemon have respectable outing. He was high effort and scrappy. He's productive when he isn't wasted on bubble screens.

We have to hope that the things that worked in the past few years are going to work again next year, I mean, you can't pay that much on defense to have no sacks or no rush defense.

DeJean's burning his potential load of money week after week, like he'll need to pay us to let him play by the end of the season.

The offense was good, but it was against dallas, so...

Good to see Lemon produce when schemed decently. I think he'll be more than fine in a competent offense sooner or later.

Welp after carrying the team for 4 games, the defense decided to take the night off and let the offense carry the team. Only they couldn't. Did the offense look better than last week? Yeah for a large part of the game they did. Until the 3rd quarter when the worst 2nd half team in the NFL looked like it.
