This is such a lame, historically ignorant argument. Was FDR an enemy of the United States because of the New Deal? Most contemporary Democrats want little more than a return to the policies and ideological thrust of their party in the early 20th Century.

I do agree, though, that they have turned their backs on individual liberties re: free speech, which to me is part of the bedrock of modern liberalism. It's concerning, and I often find myself pushing back against the cancel culture and extreme political correctness of the left's youngest generation. It's hard to respectfully disagree with this movement as a leftist and be acknowledged as an ally. You're more likely to just get attacked by the woke mob, which really just reinforces the complaint.

2. Roe v. Wade is decided and it is precedent case law. It won't ever be reversed. Many conservatives support the right to choose, even if they disagree with choosing an abortion. 

2. It is my understanding that there have been 17 times of a possible 19 times when the President and Senate (same Party) advanced a nominee in an election year. It is irrelevant that an election is looming. RBG herself spoke publicly in NY on the subject, and her position was that the President doesn't stop being President because it's an election year, and when asked about the Senate voting on a Nominee in an election year her reply was "That's their job." I agree with her. If the strongest liberal voice on the SCOUTS says do it, that's good enough for me.

And they were the only party to do so until 2016. Now they've got some company. Ain't that swell?

It's not a mistake if he doesn't win this time around. If weaponizing the DOJ is such a strong predictor of an upcoming loss, then you might as well get used to saying "President Elect Joseph Biden"
