I even think some of your reasons for hating him make sense. If I was a Democrat I would very likely feel the same way. What I push back on is when you and others refuse accept that there are other ways to look at this last four years. Almost half the country agrees with me, yet you dismiss them as stupid "Trumpbots" because they don't think like you do. The WW1 comments thing is a horrible example of anything, including TDS. It's simply not fact based until someone goes on record. And when someone goes on record, you'll just say they're disgruntled employees. We all know by now how this train of thought works. It plays out with you guys over and over again. Bolton's gone on the record with plenty of damning things about Trump (begging Xi for election help, putting his personal interests over the national security interests of the country), none of which you have accepted as truth. So don't pretend like Kelly putting his name on it would change your opinion on the matter. In the end, it's a he said/she said that will never have 100% confirmation one way or another. You're free to err on the side of protecting Trump or err on the side of standing up for our fallen soldiers. I personally err on the side of standing up for the fallen soldiers.

So, Trump is responsible for no PPE left in the national reserve after Obama and Biden depleted it for H1N1 because "he's the President now". But, Trump doesn't get credit for the lowest unemployment rates in almost 70 years because the trend happened to start under Obama? Stop it. Ya'lls conversation wasn't about Trump getting credit for anything. It was about Obama not "supporting the working class". John Snow just showed you that he supported them every bit as much or more than Trump (in terms of jobs anyway). So, do you take that statement back?

September 22, 20205 yr Bottom line from today...get used to this face on the bench and a 5-4 Trump 2nd term when the BS recounting votes case comes before them.

The BS recounting is going to be Trump trying to disenfranchise mail-in voters and claiming it's voter fraud. THAT is the BS. He's already convinced people like you, who pretends to have a clue about what the Constitution is about, that the only way he can lose is by fraud.

At least 5-4 he is staying in office.

My point is that you have to look at them in context. You can't just point to a snapshot in time and say "everything was great here!" When Trump came in he was handed an economy in the midst of one of the longest stretches of economic expansion in history. Say whatever you want about Obama, I tend to believe presidents have at most marginal impact on the economy so I certainly don't credit him as heavily as some do, but the reality is that the economy was in very good shape January 2017. Nothing fundamentally changed with the economy, and things kept going as they had. That's really the story of it. Trump didn't screw it up. So credit where it's due. But that's the reality. Please, change my mind. Show me evidence of tremendous growth. And the stock market is not the economy. The stock market is how people feel about the economy. It's the "emotional child" of the economy. 3 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: They are getting tossed as they should. So you show me bad economic data to make a point that he hasn't been good for the white working class. I then show you good data about unemployment under Trump but that's invalid because it's part of a longer term trend? Totally makes sense. How about we just don't play the data game anymore, ah k?

None of what I'm saying (mail in votes won't count, Trump will run for a 3rd term) are things I've made up. These are statements made by Barr and Trump themselves. Now that he has firm control of the senate and the courts, there's nothing left to stop him.

This election is already over. The only good thing is that states regulate the elections and their EC votes, so it makes it more difficult. You'd think places with Ds in control like PA, WI, MI, NC it'd be harder to toss out all the mail ins. I mean they are failing pretty good on the suits within PA from what I see. I can't see the military standing with President Snowflake either if he loses or starts trying to. I'm more worried about the Trumpbots that believe their Dear Leader that if Trump isn't declared winner then it is rigged. Those nutbags have guns, which their mental stability says they shouldn't, and are dumb and crazy enough to follow their hero.

You can credit magic or the underwear gnomes if you want, but the President gets credit and blame for the economy. In terms of jobs, in no way shape or form did Obama "not support the working class" unless you have some weird definition that somehow excludes him from supporting them but includes Trump, despite Trump creating less jobs than Obama.
