Like it or not, he's the Franchise QB. Knowing Howie and Doug as we do, I'd say...Mathematical elimination from the post season does it for sure. Early benching would be 0-6. That's my take on this silliness.

See that route was smart. Ward inside, Ertz 2 yards deeper. Same route by both, Wentz targets Ward, ends up being a perfect pass by Wentz.

I think they will give him the rest of the season. When we are out of contention, then I think we will see more Hurts in certain packages. But, I doubt they bench Wentz because of the money they are paying him.

In order to be a franchise QB you have to play like one, you can't be ordained as one, see JaMarcus Russell.

I get that Ertz got the first there but talk about a bad Fing route combination with two dude so close together with Ward in front of him.  Who is drawing this crap up?

No one of them didn’t run the route far enough up the field or went too far up field. That’s why they were so close. I think ward was supposed to just run that route but only at three yards he was basically 6-7 yards down the field.
