Anyone see that stat for the cowpies:
1st team in NFL HISTORY to trail by 20+ point in 6 straight home games.
not even the winless 76 Bucs, nor the 08 Lions, nor the 17 Browns were that bad.

They'd better be careful. Cruel and Unusual Punishment is a thing.

Thanksgiving game tickets? Cheaper than turkey.

The price of admission to Dallas' Nov. 28 tilt against the New York Giants is cheaper than a holiday bird—or parking at the game, for that matter.

Even inflation couldn't raise the prices of a Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day ticket this year.

If you thought groceries were getting expensive, well, guess what? You can watch really bad professional football live and in person for as little as $21 per ticket when the 3-7 Cowboys host the 2-8 New York Giants at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. at AT&T Stadium.

That $21 price comes from a StubHub standing-room-only ticket as of 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, while the cheapest actual seats are $37 apiece in section 449 (excluding additional fees). This little investigation was spurred by a post from NFL Memes, an X account which noted seats going for as little as $25 on Wednesday.

The bright side of cheap tickets is that fans who have not yet been to the Jerry Jones-owned spaceship in Arlington with its crumbling ceiling can take full advantage of a discounted opportunity. Earlier this year, a study by Gaming Today listed the average price of a ticket to a Dallas Cowboys' game at $399.50, which ranked highest in the NFL at the time.

But, considering the now-deflated prices, it's likely that you're spending a lot more on other regular Thanksgiving Day items or activities than admission to the Cowboys game itself.

Given the $21 standing-room-only ticket and $37 seats from StubHub, here's a list of regular Thanksgiving expenses that exceed the price of admission to Cowboys-Giants:

A turkey

A 9-pound Butterball Turkey costs $26.10 at beloved Texas grocer H-E-B, which is more than a standing-room ticket, but less than seats. Though a 17.4-pound turkey, the second-largest size, is listed at $41.41.

A Turkey Trot

Even before the price increase on Nov. 22, the Houston Methodist Turkey Trot is $43 per entry for the in-person 5K. If you're in Dallas, the untimed in-person 5K run/walk is the cheapest option for adults at $44. Youth (ages 7-12) can run the 5K untimed for $26, which is still more expensive than a standing-room-only ticket to a Cowboys' game.

An actual football

If you're trying to perfect your spiral like an NFL quarterback, it actually might be more expensive than watching a very mediocre QB battle between Cooper Rush and Tommy DeVito. A Wilson Duke Metallic Edition Pro Replica Football from Academy Sports + Outdoors is $39.99.

A new TV

Yes, you can get a 32-inch TCL Smart TV from Walmart right now for $97 to watch the game, but you could also be there live and in person, watching the game on a 72-feet-high by 160-feet-wide flat screen at AT&T Stadium for cheaper.

Parking at the stadium

The cheap ticket also means that you likely can save the extra cash for parking around AT&T Stadium. Don't worry about the cheap parking miles away from the stadium when you can get Cowboys' Silver and Blue lots immediately around the stadium at a price ranging from $66 to $499 per car.

A therapy session

And if you know your Thanksgiving family time will be full of political discourse, interrogation as to why you aren't married yet or rehashing of old arguments, Healthline suggests that the average cost of a therapy session starts at $85 for online appointments and $100 for in-person appointments.

But if you're not a Cowboys fan and you're stuck in the DFW-area on Thanksgiving with family, it might be cathartic to snag some cheap tickets so you can sit in the stadium and witness for yourself: It could always be worse.

Dallas sucks so much they even start to screw themselves once their season is over.

They're tanking their tank, truly an impressive feat.

Not only that, but assist us (slightly), by knocking the Redskins down a notch in the East giving us a bit more room.
