Like last season against the Seahawks....a game that we win with Wentz imo. I wouldn’t think like that 

We have to get our interior OL straightened out though.  We have to allow more time to give our passing game more of a chance. We survived tonight. But, it's got to get better.

Defense played well when gerry was off the field. Some converted safety.

There really isnt much that scares defenses.

When the team the Eagles are playing are preparing, who do they gameplan to stop on offense?  Ertz and Sanders.  Everyone else nobody worries about.  Ertz isnt even that dynamic.  He's a chain mover, possession TE.

Wentz looked like he did at end of last year. Not always pretty and miss a couple throws but makes the plays we need to win as the defense keeps it close.

nick mullens.  he is the SOLE reason the 9ers lost and the eagles won.  he missed WIDE open players in the first quarter which would have been easy touchdowns.  he also threw picks and fumbled at the WORST times.  any time is bad, but on a drive where you're driving for a potential touchdown?  throwing a pick 6 to essentially seal the game?  he is why they lost.

any other competent qb would have probably shredded us tonight and taken advantage of our linebackers over and over and over and over.

They definitely played better with Beathard. Mullens looked good last week. But, he did struggle in this one.    But, the Eagles got to Mullens a few times and that makes QBs feel uncomfortable.  So, if the Eagles would've got to other QBs, then it could've been the same result. Goff is a QB like that. We didn't get to Goff enough. But, if you get to Goff, usually he plays terrible.

They actually showed up and played. Amazing.

My primary concern coming into this game was:

I expect you to lose but please don't look like idiots on National TV.

Mission accomplished and they won to boot. Wentz played better but still was off-target.

Wentz also ran a bunch and even scored a TD! He also was rolling out just like back in the

olden days. Defense played well until the QB change in the 4th Q. This lead to some ogida

as well as my first yelling fits at the TV.  Game shoulda never got to Hail Mary on the last play

but at least they survived.

If the season ended today the Eagles are in the playoffs !!                               

So . . . let's see if they can keep this thing going.
