I think someone else has mentioned a godaddy error when trying to edit a thread title. I finally experienced that

My guess is that it's because of the cloudfare problems that happened today

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on soon.

The board was crashing for me a little earlier and wouldn't submit posts. Testing now to see if it will post.

A new issue I've seen this week is that after I submit a post, the page refreshes and puts me at the top of the page, not at the bottom where the recent post is. I haven't changed anything in my settings.

Spoilers box. In the menu there are two spoiler options and neither work quite right. There's also a box option which seems to be a spoiler box that is blank and you can make it a spoiler box. The new setup since the upgrade is confusing and redundant.

First spoiler choice: leaves box title blank, defaults to collapsed by default. So acts like a spoiler box with no title. Can change to always open, making it a regular box.

Spoiler test comment with first menu option.

Second spoiler choice: adds the title "Spoiler" automatically. But it removed the text that I wrote. I typed the text, highlighted it, then clicked the menu option for spoiler (the 2nd one) to create the spoiler with this text. But it created the box with title "Spoiler" and removed the text, there's nothing here:

Box menu choice: same as spoiler box but defaults to always open, can change to collapsed by default to make it a spoiler box with no title. I never see anyone use this.

You ever quote a post, and then when you go to type a response, YOU ARE IN THE QUOTE? And you can't get out of said quote to post a reply? So weird.

And now, every time I go into that thread, I'm still stuck in that position where I can't get out of it. Ugh, so effing frustrating this MB is at times.

Is it one of the known issues like it contains an embedded post (tweet/X, YouTube, etc.?). Or just any edit.

Sometimes there are temporary glitches from the server, see if you can edit a post now.

It's any edit. My posts never have some something embedded in them. I'm to boring for that stuff. 😎

If I can't edit the post, I have to delete it. Then I just start over with said post.

Does it happen on both laptop and mobile? Different browsers? Have you tried making sure your browsers are up to date? Clear cache? You should be able to edit posts that don't contain embeds.

Any chance we can get the search feature to not be so time strict when trying to do quick searches? Having to wait while doing a search is frustrating

Something I've noticed it I'll be replying to a post and click "Submit Reply" and the page refreshes and goes to the top. I scroll down and the post is still in the text editor and not posted so I have to click it again

It definitely happens on my mobile. I just tried to edit a post in WU, in the Redden Entertain Me thread. I'm not sure if it happens on my laptop or any other hardware I post from (desktop, iPad).

I can check tomorrow on a device that's not my phone. So odd.

The message I get is something like "your post cannot be edited as it has been removed, deleted, or to much time has passed for an edit to be made".
